  1. Yes which is 45 days prior to sailing. It generally opens at midnight in timezone of the ships departure port.
  2. They reintroduced the Aqua Suite concept to gleen more $$$ from the better sky suites. They first introduced AS when they brought out Reflection before Luminae, it was a Sky Suite where you ate in Blu. They had trouble selling them for an upcharge. I got assigned them often when doing suite GTY. Eventually they re-classified them to S1.
  3. It has been my experience in the 6 or so times sailing in these corner aft suites on decks 6-11 butler service has always been lacking due to the fact that there are only 2 suites back there on each deck. Usually one dedicated (most junior) was assigned to them on all decks. You would never just run into them in the hallway. On one 11 night sailing the MC concierge asked us mid cruise how our butler was. Told her we hadn't met him yet. But for the head butler to say you wouldn't see him again? It was my understanding he was to be the point of contact and would expect a business card with his number and the number would be covered by others when he was off shift.
  4. I believe I had added my friends booking to my list on the website so we could do shore excursion bookings. I'm pretty sure both reservations then showed up on the app when I logged in. Have you tried adding it using the Add Another Cruise link on your account?
  5. I would contact the IT manager onboard and show him/her the performance of the webinar. I never have trouble streaming with premium even in South America and on TA.
  6. The offer to bid has nothing to do with available inventory. Bids are accepted on sold out categories all the time and could be awarded if there are cancellations.
  7. She did say emphatically that it's gone. I believe she was specific in saying they heard from Blue Chip (or maybe she said casino) guests that they wanted smoking in the casino. Given that it appears that less than 20% of people in US/Europe smoke I still don't understand how the outcry would push a decision to change policy. How that morphed to vaping solving the problem is anyone's guess.
  8. Lately they have been collecting seapass cards and then return them at the end of your B2B series. I think they said they think the passenger may get confused. I suspect it is more that they think someone may flash one to get something for which they aren't entitled to on a subsequent sailing like a Suite card or Bev Package. Any way you do get them back. I have one from every sailing except one where the machine that ding'ed me off the machine ate it and it dropped down inside.
  9. I know this doesn't help but April 17-May 25 of this year. Zero None Nada French Champagne on the premium package on Connie. Spoke with the Cellar Master on multiple occasions who didn't seem interested at all. Just said supplier issue.
  10. I have to admit I wasn't a fan of the pureed vegetables served in cone shape form. The beef offerings were wonderful.
  11. I didn't see a SV GTY on Celebrity site, no SV at all on this sailing.
  12. If you are in a suite and you are in the Retreat Lounge/Michaels Club you can have anything in the premium drink package without question. Sometimes they will provide things outside the package within reason. They aim to please. Other than 1 or 2 sailings long ago we have been able to take drinks from the lounge, so you can get a glass of wine and take it to dinner.
  13. Did Auckland to Sydney the first year Celebrity did it on Mercury. Spent a week in NZ on the South island prior to the cruise. Loved NZ. In January we are doing our first Windstar cruise on one of their motor yachts from Auckland to Tahiti via Fiji 15 days. We are flying to Auckland about a week before and going to spend 3 days in the Bay of Islands area which we didn't get to last time. We are from the east coast so it's taken us this long to agree to the long flight again. This time we are going to overnight in LA each direction. With the prices could only go for premium economy and even so ouch! Business would have been 1.5x the cruise price.
  14. Yes technically Retreat Sundeck uses the drink packages, I think sometimes they don't check. The Retreat Lounge the drinks are complimentary. Luminae is always drink package or pay as you go.
  15. I do think the reference to our "most loyal customers" was aimed at Captains Club in general who was the target of the webinar.
  16. Discuss with your stateroom attendant. They will coordinate with you when you can take stuff to the new room and put in the safe. People are supposed to be out of the room by 8. Usually you can move you valuables by 8:30-9 but coordinate with them.
  17. Charter cruises are very lucrative for the Cruise Line. As said previously they generally do this prior to the 330 days when airline reservations open to avoid that issue. They used to at least offer to pay change fees but that is generally not too helpful since the resulting airline credit is generally only good for 1 year from the original booking date.
  18. Lately it seems GTY rates have a bunch of restrictions. Especially if they are listed on Exciting Deals which specifically state New Bookings Only. Long ago they didn't seem to enforce that but it seems they are especially with GTY. Possibly they are letting them cancel to make it a new booking. From experience for $200 I wouldn't go down this road.
  19. No It's per cabin. If you both had 100 shares (of your own) and you had 2 cabins yes you get for each cabin as long as 1 of you were booked in each cabin.
  20. Did you ask why it just couldn't be re-fared at the prevailing rates? Did you book at least some of the excursions with OBC? I do suspect that has something to do with it.
  21. The disadvantage of the FCC is it will be based on the price paid for the missed sailing. I'm sure the sailing on the 16th is probably significantly more. Having said that FCC is a nice good will gesture that they certainly don't have to do in this situation. A year ago when they had lots of empty cabins on all sailings they may have been willing to move them to another sailing. At this point they can probably still sell that cabin at prevailing rates.
  22. You just have to show proof of 100 shares in the name of one of the passengers on the reservation. If it's rejected I always ask why, then they seem to magically approve. I always send a page of my latest statement with everything except RCL redacted. I leave my name and the date of the statement visible.
  23. This isn't RCL! Totally different situation. The numbers of Zenith are a fraction of the Pinnacle on RCL. It's virtually impossible to get to Zenith these days without sailing in suites. Yes some Zeniths (myself included) no longer sail in suites because we are forced to pay for benefits we get complimentary with status). But I think you will find on most sailings a good number of the Zeniths are in suites anyway. Most sailings there are less than a dozen Zeniths total onboard. Some of the unique itineraries have numbers up in the low twenties but the announcement addressed the crowding issue where additional lounge space will be provided when required. I think you will find Celebrity Zenith passengers are polite, well traveled, well behaved people who can be a joy to converse with. You probably won't even know who they are until you notice they aren't dining in Luminae😀
