  1. Just off last week after 38 days. Yes curtain in all non suite rooms except A1's on deck 11 and the new port side Oceanview next to Quisine. Hint. Ask when the Butcher Shop is going to be held in the evening buffet and don't miss it. The Chef on that ship is doing a great job managing his budget and providing things not being done on other ships. So keep it quiet.
  2. I believe Meatloaf is on one of the Blu menus. Even pre covid they would have it on the Carving station in the buffet at lunch. That made me laugh.
  3. I was told the same thing shortly after the restart. I called my TA and he was able to change it in 5 min. I'd keep calling to see if someone will do it for you. I wouldn't even mention that it was a GTY, just say I'd like to change my cabin from X to Y. Edit: Of course that's a risk of booking GTY is that you can get the worst cabin in the category.
  4. They are definitely listed as amenities of the cabin at this level. Gratuities are not they are a booking perk. Granted this document has an older date on it but RS and above has historically had PBP and Wifi as amenities like laundry and bar setup. https://www.celebritycorporatekit.com/content/uploads/2019/06/2019-20_Stateroom-Details-Edge-Class.pdf Sorry I didn't read all the way down where someone posted the details of the Moveup disclaimer which does state they would get the all-in amenities.
  5. Until this weekend when they add the $50 OBC back like they have been doing for the last 6 months.
  6. Interesting. In the past when they have done this I believe they have generally just changed existing reservations to the longer itinerary at the same rate, of course allowing people to cancel if it no longer met their needs. I can't believe there would be a significant percentage of the ship booked this far in advance. $100 obc is insulting.
  7. We have also looked at this HAL sailing. We have opted for Windstar from Auckland to Tahiti as there were still some things we wanted to do on our own in NZ as well.
  8. I would not expect flowers in a Sky Suite.
  9. I think with the increase of the amounts of tips included in the pre-paid gratuities, be it daily or included in AI and the increase in the % on drinks and specialty dining my observation is that many have reduced the amount of "extra" tipping being done. As far as bartender/bar server gratuities, my understanding is they get a slice of the overall beverage gratuity pool. Their slice is influenced by performance (however Celebrity rates that??). I believe they also get a token amount for each "swipe" (drink served) but that's not the bulk of their "tips".
  10. Can anyone imagine that they forgot to remove them from the Room Service menu? Celebrity?
  11. That's the way it used to be but effective with bookings made March 2, 2023 the deposit is now fully non-refundable. https://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Celebrity/General_Info/CEL_2_23_23_FLY_Non-Refundable_FAQs_Trade.pdf Then there is another change going into effect on June 1 wrt suite deposits. Suite deposits will be the greater of 10% of the cruise fare or the "standard" deposit rate. With NRD suite deposits you will lose the full 10%
  12. From what I understand both sailings have to be with the same TA to be able to apply the B2B discount.
  13. Still not sure why there would be any fee to move a refundable deposit as you can cancel and get your entire deposit back and just book the new sailing with a new deposit. $0 penalty.
  14. Because it's the holiday weekend maybe??
  15. I do wonder if this is just an issue with the supplier. As I posted earlier I was on Constellation last week and the Chocolate Cake was different than the consistent product (commercial kitchen) I've been served over the last many years. It was no where near as good.
  16. I believe you have premium wifi and bev package based on codes I had on a Retreat booking in Sept. Another method to verify would be to divide the amount "charged" by the number of days of the sailing and see if it aligns with the package price.
  17. I'd contact the travel agency and get the detail of what is provide by Celebrity (non refundable) and what is provided by TA. If the Celebrity amount is not showing available on your cruise planner for booking excursions, dining etc have the TA get that resolved. That's what they get paid for. As others have said you should have an invoice with you which specifies the total OBC so if there is an issue onboard it can be resolved.
  18. I believe you are in Canada. If it is before final payment you should be able to change category at the prevailing rate without any penalty. After final payment you would just have to call whomever you booked with to see if you could be upgraded. Sometimes they allow, sometimes not.
  19. This ^^^^ You should be able to make a new login and then add your existing Captains Club number.
  20. Just back from the Constellation TA + the following 2 sailings for 38 days total. Had premium wifi and had no issues. Streamed Youtube-TV most nights with no buffering. Internet was out all day while in Turkey but later found out it was an issue with StarLink not being licensed there so the system had to be shutdown.
  21. I find it funny as they tried this when they brought out the Reflection with the additional Sky Suites where they designated some a AS with the AQ shower tower in the bath tub and access to Blu (prior to Luminae). At the time they seemed to be having trouble selling them at an upcharge over a SS as I would often see a sailing with many empty and a W Suite GTY offered. I would book the GTY and always be assigned the AS suite. I suspect it will go the same way this time where they either have to reduce/eliminate the price difference between S2/S1 and the Aqua version or reclassify them again. In many cases I've seen an upcharge of over $1k pp. I don't think many will value the spa amenities that much. Generally these can me more desirable cabins/locations but again the price differential to me isn't worth it.
  22. They just reclassified some S2 Sky Suites to Aqua Class Sky suites to generate more revenue from them as their location is more desirable due to less noise from above on S class ships. On M class they reclassified some of the S1's again for $$$$
  23. Just off 38 days on Constellation on Thursday. I had the Chocolate cake twice including the last night. It was different than it has been over the last several years. Since this cake has been so consistent every time I've ordered it over 10's of sailings I suspect it is not made onboard and comes from a commercial kitchen. Friends who remain onboard Constellation reported that it was not on the menu this sailing. We had been discussing the whole Chocolate cake issue last week.
  24. This. Do the math. And yes the TA should be doing this. Celebrity won't deal with your reservation if it's owned by a TA. You might need a new TA in the future!
