  1. I've found the menus are not accurate until a day before or the day of boarding. I'd look for the longest cruise currently sailing and use those but I wouldn't depend on the order.
  2. The reclassification was done before they opened the 2023 summer season for booking. For example if I'm sailing next week on a M class ship in cabin 6145 it's a S1. If I'm sailing next summer in the same cabin it a Aqua Sky Suite. On the short 5 night Summit sailings the upcharge for Aqua Sky Suite is about $100 pp/pd.
  3. It's call Aqua Suite and is on all ships after April 2023. It's part of the whole category reclassification. On M class all the current S1 category will be Aqua Suites after the reclassification. These cabins have a significant upcharge over a regular Sky Suite. I wonder if it will work any better than the last time they tried Aqua Suites on Reflection when it came out.
  4. Yes Cruise with Confidence is over now but that program was for voluntary cancellation. The Covid Assistance Program is different and that is the policy that provides compensation for the days in isolation and a refund for the cruise if you test positive within the 10 days prior to your sailing. This policy is in effect through April 30, 2023. Covid-19 Assistance Book any Celebrity Cruise that’s sailing between now and April 30, 2023, and you’ll have the following reassurance at no extra charge: 100% cruise fare refund for you, and your Traveling Party, if any of you tests positive for COVID-19 within 10 days prior to the cruise or at the boarding terminal.** Pro-rated cruise fare refund for anyone who has their cruise cut short due to testing positive for COVID-19 or being suspected of having COVID-19 during the cruise.
  5. But since you are in a Sky Suite you will want to do Luminae for lunch on turnaround day.
  6. On Reflection those large refrigerators were locked in the off hours when the lounge was not staffed. We were on Edge on the second sailing after the restart. In the Retreat lounge there were kids 10-12 that were coming into the lounge unattended 9-10 pm and trying to get beer out of the cooler. Another passenger intervened and informed the bartender. The parents were "talked to" by the concierges the next day and told the parent they had to accompany the kids. The parents did nothing to address the issue.
  7. Not a problem. We are struggling to figure out what we are going to do.
  8. Yea I think the passenger pressure was soft bookings on categories below Aqua Class causing them to need a lower entry price to compete with their competitors on price.
  9. Ok you challenged me. Email sent
  10. Peter worked with Eddie Jenkins last year on Equinox. We were on Equinox when the Queen passed last month. Peter gave a wonderful presentation in the Theater. Turns out he grew up very close to Windsor Castle and told a personal story about running into the Queen Mother one day as a child when he was in the park with his dad.
  11. If you booked via a TA I'm pretty sure you have to contact them to prepay gratuities. If you booked direct the email implies that you can go to Manage Reservation and add them there. I do wish you could pre-pay with OBC on Cruise Planner.
  12. With the removal of testing requirements I expect no-shows to drop dramatically.
  13. You probably did from me if you were the one who said "room for one more" when jamming into the full elevator with 12 people in it already as I was exiting. Has nothing to do with covid, did this before covid.
  14. I have worn a KN95 mask onboard for the 12 sailings since the restart. Most of my sailings have been B2B so I was being extra cautious to not have to disembark for my subsequent sailing. Only once very early on did one person approach our group "giving his opinion". Lately even though in the much smaller minority it seems to be taken very much in stride as it should be.
  15. You don't by chance have Celebrity Cruise Care as your travel insurance. While I don't recommend it for most people due to the low coverage limits it does have the advantage of providing 90% FCC in the event of canceling for an uncovered event such as this.
  16. If you book onboard this chart describes the OBC you should receive.
  17. If your booking includes gratuities or you have pre-paid them it will not affect you. If gratuities are not included in your fare you may want to consider pre-paying them before 10/17. Can you post the notice? I have Jan cruises booked cruise only and didn't get the email.
  18. @Country_Cruiser67 If you want to send me an email at wrk2cruise at gmail.com I can let you know what we decide and maybe you would like to join.
  19. The discount used to be available only for 7 nights and longer. Since the restart I've received it on 5 night sailings. Here is the flyer so maybe you can show them their own promo material. https://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Celebrity/General_Info/Flyers/CEL_Back_to_Back_Offer_Flyer.pdf
  20. I also do all my browsing on the Celebrity site using an incognito window which is a way to avoid the valid annoying emails.
  21. My wife constantly gets emails to complete booking for xyz sailing. #1 I do all the cruise planning under my account #2 The sailing listed is usually one I never looked at.
