On your Alaska itinerary you could board in Juneau since the ship is sailing from a US port to a Canada port one way. No legal issues. On RT Hawaii cruises from LA passengers would not permitted to board in Hawaii. Reason. To sail between two different US ports a non US Flag vessel must make a port stop at at least one distant foreign port. Ensenada is not a distant foreign port. It is a near foreign port which is sufficient for RT itineraries, but not when a passenger boards at one US port and disembarks at another. The closest defined distant foreign ports would be in South America or some other Pacific Island in the South Pacific. Doubtful any passengers boarded in Hawaii. Probably crew or entertainers. Crew and entertainers are not restricted by the PVSA.

You have next port protection with EZ Air when legally allowed. In your example boarding in Juneau on a one way voyage from Vancouver to Whitter would not be permitted. A similar situation would happen with a RT Hawaii cruise. You would not be allowed to board in Hawaii and thus you would miss the entire cruise. But, on a Caribbean cruise you could board at one of the non US islands. People you saw boarding probably were crew or entertainers. The best approach I think these days would be to schedule your flights at least a few days before the ship is scheduled to sail or if close enough drive to the port. Flights are being cancelled and delayed everywhere and this is not under cruise line's control.

If you do have the plus fare then there is no need to purchase an additional beverage package. Mocktails can be made at any bar. They can be standard or prepared to your taste. A standard selection of juices are available at no charge during breakfast hours, maybe to 11am. After that there would be a charge when ordered at a bar. Fresh squeezed juices are not available on all ships and limited to certain bars. Sodas are fountain sodas and are limited. Canned soda is not included.

It is easy to just walk over to the beach area. When we were there there were plenty of lounges under palms Don't believe the beverage package works there, but I could be wrong. The bar/food area was privately operated.

Visit your next cabin steward in advance to introduce yourself. Cabins have to be vacated by 8am. You should be able to place items into your new cabin safe shortly afterwards. The onboard accounts will roll over and there will be one final invoice at the end of the 2 weeks. Unless procedures have changed you are not required to leave the ship in Barcelona as mentioned in the previous posting. It's treated just like any other port day.

For the most cabins yes. Just ask the cabin steward to open up the connecting balcony door. Somethings to be aware of: Bring something like a tie to fasten the open door to the eye hook. The ship is old and the latch may not hold all the time. The connecting door is only about 2 feet wide allowing you to pass between. The door does not open to provide one large balcony. The balcony is 9ft wide x 6 ft deep.

I would contact the airline. Also agree that Princess' customer service has disappeared. Post covid is difficult both financially and operationally, but the total lack of customer service and outsourcing to Asia will only complicate the issue and turn customers away. When the drink packages are included as part of the plus fare package or premier fare package then the first two passengers are required to have the same fare and thus both will have the package. No. As mentioned Skywalker's, all the way aft and all the way up, has great views. Horizon Terrace also has nice views. The Conservatory above the Calypso Reef indoor pool is also a nice indoor lounging area.

Fresh OJ is not available on all ships. But if available it is covered by the plus package. A selection of standard juices is available to all no charge during breakfast times. After that there is a charge. This is what I think the reference to juices in the plus package means. You get them anytime not just at breakfast.
