  1. They are different fares, one could have OBC while the other does not. Princess needs to correct plus and other inclusive fares to allow for your situation, 1st passenger over 21, 2nd passenger under 21. It makes no sense for the passenger to pay the cost of an alcoholic fare for a non alcoholic package.
  2. Just checked 9/6 sailing. Balcony cat cabins show as available with pricing.
  3. Port side will have sun most of the day. Starboard will mostly be in shade. Mid ship is the most important consideration. In your situation Club Class cabins are basically all mid ship, except for the four forward club class cabins on the upper decks.
  4. Just book the two cruises. They will automatically be linked. If you don't want to change cabins select your cabin and have your booking marked no upgrade. As pointed out no need to go through an immigration procedure in Whittier like the ones required in all other US ports. This is because you go through US immigration in Vancouver before you board. Whittier will be just another port day.
  5. Maybe in full suites. Bring your own.
  6. Yes walls are magnetic Laundry availability depends on time of day, port day or sea day, length of cruise. We always did laundry on port days. A number of years ago the laundry rooms were cut in half in size.
  7. Larger extended balconies are only partially covered, about 4ft of cover. Check the deck plans
  8. Incompetence, no other way to describe this ongoing confusing and misleading information. Don't know why Princess can not get this straightened out? They have been embarking/disembarking from Brooklyn for at least 15 years. The only time that I recall Princess docking in Manhattan is when Manhattan is a port of call. 10/29/22 Brooklyn Enchanted Princess Princess Cruises Canada, New England
  9. The Lobby Bar most likely will not have a selection of doughnuts. Maybe ae few danish style sweets.
  10. Should be the Lobby Bar that has the espresso beverages.
  11. Maybe. Depends on many factors including what category you originally booked. Upgrades tend to be, but not always, in the same or next category. Be satisfied in the cabin you booked.
  12. Crown Plaza or Doubletree in San Pedro
  13. Up to two qualified passengers per cabin. From the Princess web site Restrictions This offer is valid for a maximum of two military personnel per booking. This offer is combinable with other Onboard Credit offers. This offer is non-transferable. This offer cannot be used for casino credits/charges. This offer is combinable with most cruise fares. Some restrictions apply. Applications to receive this benefit must be made no later than 14 days prior to the cruise departure date.
  14. Quick answer. Entire mini bar which includes 10 alcoholic and 10 non alcoholic beverages for two coffee packages. No partials. Call room service to make the exchange. Coffee package will be placed on your account(s).
  15. L:ocation. Botticelli is on deck 6 aft with access only from the aft stairs or elevators from deck 7 and above. The entrance area can get crowded as it is actually the elevator/stair lobby area. DaVinci is on deck 6 mid ship. Part of this DR is used for Club Class dining. The waiting area is small. Michelangelo is deck 5 mid ship off the main Piazza area.
  16. Don't ever remember seeing lifejackets by the pool on a Princess ship, nor have I seen a desk or sign out location for any items by Princess pools. The reference must be another cruise line. From the FAQ's Do you have safety floatation devices for the children who are unable to swim? No, but parents are welcome to bring their own inflatable safety floating devices appropriate for their child’s age and weight. https://www.princess.com/learn/faq/onboard/cruising-with-family/
  17. I would choose one of the older ships. Sapphire would be my choice. More venues, better viewing areas. While the Majestic is a nice ship it has the potential for 1,000 more passengers than the Sapphire with not very much additional public space. The Majestic was built for the Asian market and is somewhat different in design and venues than other Princess ships. All three ships have an indoor pool. The Alaska itinerary attracts families. There will be youth on board when sailing during school summer school vacation period, June through August. No rock walls, bumper cars, surfing, ice rinks or anything like that on any Princess ship.
  18. Is it week long or cruise long? I think the latter.
  19. My opinion is that Princess placed too much money and faith on the app and its supposed great features, while cutting back on customer service during a difficult re-start. In the vacation business pre-cruise and on board personal service is most important. The pre-cruise app features cost them lots of $$$ and delivered them bad reports, jammed customer service lines and headaches for both their customers and themselves. I don't know if they really understand.
  20. Are you sure? Even though there is a form we never had to have the form in the past. Only the information shown in post #2 which could be faxed, mailed, and now emailed.
  21. Wish I could be with you again. Hope your are still doing your rock show with your Fender Strat.
  22. The trip is actually two voyages. Southampton to NYC on Sept 24, 11 nights, and then NYC to Southampton on Oct 5, 14 nights. Expect that you would be able to purchase an Enclave pass separately for the 11 night or the 14 night. Do not believe you could purchase a 7 day pass as the cruises are not of that duration. Gather your information and then visit the spa desk on boarding day and discuss it with them.
  23. From what I read persons with a Colombia passport require a visa to visit. The only way to be certain is to contact the British Embassy or Consulate in the country where he resides. Any information provided here can not be official and I would not rely on it. You can find web sites for the British Embassy on line.
  24. There are private taxi/tours just outside the property gate.
