  1. Would agree with any arrangement to be able to enjoy one any of the restaurant's seafood meals they are noted for. The Peace and Serenity walking the streets so special.
  2. Classic Plate Sandwich with Chips, Pickle with the Professional Ladies behind the Counter in their Professional Uniform. Never, Never, Never did they give me a Potato Chip in the pile that was broken. I can still get a sandwich like this at a Check Board Counter at the 5&10 in Cape May NJ....
  3. Quote If not made right, too heavy, too thick, too rich and too filling. Sauer K, Swiss, CB on Rye. I have never seen anyone finishing one anytime in the past.
  4. We had Camila on QM2 and she was Truly a Gem! Beautiful and Extremely Helpful...
  5. Traditional all the way........That's what makes Tea traditional and easy to consume. Basic sandwiches were on the tray with the Champagne Tea on the Mary 2. One that was missing was Basic Egg Salad as plain as can be would have been accepted. One of my favorite books is a special Tea Manual from Plaza Hotel I inherited. Also one from a Madison Avenue Ladies Group that was a special gift. Everything from A to Z. I can start and never put it down.
  6. I prefer water as said since there is oil in Mayo. ??????? relish ??????. No way..... Toasted Rye ok or Sandwich White.... On board I like Tuna at Tea Time with Cucumber Thinly Sliced with Crustless White Bread....
  7. While I was having a Tuna Fish Salad sandwich for Lunch today I was wondering why it's not offered on cruises. It's a traditional sandwich like a BLT served in most restaurants that are fast food and food courts and deli's. I know that also tuna fish salad are made out of many tuna packed: Dry, Water or Oil. I prefer tuna out of the can mixed with mayo and some chopped celery. On a toasted bread or roll. With a slice of White, Vadalia Onion. What's your opinion?
  8. QM2 will give hard ice cream in the dining room but Soft is in the Kings Court.. The Hard Ice Cream is made on board. The on disappointment was the on Soft Serve was Vanilla. No Chocolate out of the machine.
  9. Since wheat is widely available and relatively inexpensive in the United States, Jewish rye bread has evolved to have very little rye in it at all. Most often the rye is found only in the sour, which is then added to the dough of wheat flour, water, salt, and commercial yeast.
  10. We didn't not experience any of this on last sailing. Straight forward charges as we purchased and posted. Has it been something particular to some people or particular cards?
  11. Sorry, personal opinion, my likes are original productions of plays and movies that them what they are. They would not be remakes if original ones weren't first made. I also don't care for when originals can not be produced as original have to have words and songs removed and/or altered. To each is own....I don't mine "you would miss a ton of great theater"...
  12. Unfortunately I like Original Productions and not remakes...
  13. On of the best souvenir are rocks or stones from various Port of Calls that reflected the ground and surface of the area ex. volcanic stone.
  14. They get it from New Rochelle bakery. Got a loaf and they kept the plastic bag on it.
  15. I picked up in Sept Iles Ca Mountain Cranberry Jam. Very different from the Cranberry you get from bogs of the Eastern Sea Coast.
  16. We enjoyed the Room Service feature on disembarkation day. It did help since we departed from the cabin instead of waiting outside the room.
  17. 1776 not getting that backing many thought it would get with the change of concept. Should stay with the original.
  18. It helps when you have someone that worked in Cunard Services. Just lucky.
  19. Victoria you are right! I remember at breakfast on disembarkation day the fellows were picking up the tables and changing them around for those coming on board at 12 Noon. Table of 2's were changed to Table for 4 and another one to Table of 6. Tables by the windows were remaining the same. They were very busy changing the Table Layout.
  20. If you are talking about Roaring 20's, our sailings had a lot of fun with it. The ship had a lot of people in various forms of dress that really added to the fun. The guys really fitted into the period. But the women really did the right dress. People were coming into the Princess Grill already dressed and ready to go directly to the Queens Room.
  21. Verandah Steakhouse has more space in it over the other restaurants. Every night when we cut thru the Britannia restaurant from Princess, we were so glad that we upgraded from Britannia to Britannia Club to Princess. We now know which one we really like now. No really impressed with QG and the menus. So PG looks good from then on. If we UG to QG then we will see if we like it.
