  1. If you are looking for the cheapest option, that's washing out your items in your sink. (the shampoo/bodywash in the shower dispenser is an EXCELLENT laundry soap). After wringing out your clothes, roll them in a towel, walk on the rolled up towel to get out as much moisture as possible, then hang to dry. If you want the ship to do your laundry, you will be able to use a wash 'n' fold laundry bag for $35. You can only send basics like underwear and t-shirts. Don't send anything you don't trust in hot water and hot dryers. Other than that, you can use the "real" laundry, where you pay per item. I don't have the price list at hand, but I'm sure that someone will come along and post it for you. 🙂
  2. There is, among other options, vegetarian fried rice, crispy kara-age chicken (basically japanese chicken nuggets - delicious!), miso soup, two nice salads, chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki.
  3. Before 2020, we always had those port fees refunded. In early 2020, on what would turn out to be one of the last cruises before the shutdown, we were told, "Nope, too bad, so sad."
  4. Solid gold key chains - dipped in plastic for your protection!
  5. Has anyone tried to use TWO vouchers? Some have reported being able to use either 3 or 4 - I can't remember - vouchers for a bottle of wine.
  6. I'll be there in 12 hours. If I don't post again, you'll know that the gangs got me.
  7. The OP is asking specifically about the Icon, people. Your experience on other ships may have no bearing on this question. RC is indeed restricting bookings. I was unable, for example, to book a JS solo on any sailing. I had to put my daughter's name on the reservation, which i will remove at a later date.
  8. Or maybe they want the menu for Johnny Rockets. 😉
  9. Just watched it on Adventure in the Pub. It's on ESPN. Go Phillies!

  11. Only ONCE did I not get it back, and that was about five years ago.
  12. I am not discounting your experience, but you were on Carnival. Surprisingly, the answer is not always the same for different cruise lines. For example, out of Baltimore, Carnival opens the casino earlier than RC, because Carnival has made the decision to pay Maryland blackmail, and RC has not. I don't know if any of that applies to New Orleans. 🙂 Royal Caribbean hasn't cruised out of NOLA in a few years. The first "return to NOLA" cruise embarks next Friday. hoosier sailor is the best offer of information. 🙂
  13. You are usually SO GOOD with accurate information. It has been 45 days for a looooooooong time now. (and there is no assurance that you will receive notification from RC)
