  1. I don't know how long ago you saw it, but they "recently" (canNOT remember when), but not long before the shutdown, I think - they changed it so that the story was more obvious.
  2. Most shows last 10+ years. There are production shows on the ships that have been on for 20+ years.
  3. There are three shows that pre-covid required reservations. The Gift, Spectra's Cabaret, & We Will Rock You. All three will be on our cruise on December 4. As stated above, for some reason, only Spectra's Cabaret is showing up in the Cruise Planner. And there are no reservations for the November 27 cruise. I guess they are bringing back that ability starting in December. Cruise Planner ---> Entertainment --> Spectra's Cabaret
  4. I always book Deck 6 on the Anthem, and the obstructions don't bother me.
  5. I guarantee you that if you had NOT worn a Diamond pin, but had shown your SeaPass card with Diamond printed on it, you would have gotten in.
  6. If you have reached Pinnacle and are "cynical" about booking another cruise, well, I am not sure I know what to say.
  7. I don't get off early and always easily find a chair and umbrella, in multiple locations. My preference is the Oasis Lagoon pool, but as I walk around, I see plenty of them everywhere.
  8. Also posted on another social media site was more information about what the "spring break blackout dates" are. According to more than one source, they are concurrent with the "kids sale free" blackout dates for spring break. In other words, unlike the June 15 - August 15 time frame, they are not a specific date, but DO run along with the Easter holiday for that calendar year. So the dates for 2023 will not be the same dates in 2024, and so on. Found it:
  9. And the answer is the same for all Royal Caribbean ships. 🙂
  10. If you are looking for the cheapest option, that's washing out your items in your sink. (the shampoo/bodywash in the shower dispenser is an EXCELLENT laundry soap). After wringing out your clothes, roll them in a towel, walk on the rolled up towel to get out as much moisture as possible, then hang to dry. If you want the ship to do your laundry, you will be able to use a wash 'n' fold laundry bag for $35. You can only send basics like underwear and t-shirts. Don't send anything you don't trust in hot water and hot dryers. Other than that, you can use the "real" laundry, where you pay per item. I don't have the price list at hand, but I'm sure that someone will come along and post it for you. 🙂
  11. There is, among other options, vegetarian fried rice, crispy kara-age chicken (basically japanese chicken nuggets - delicious!), miso soup, two nice salads, chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki.
  12. Before 2020, we always had those port fees refunded. In early 2020, on what would turn out to be one of the last cruises before the shutdown, we were told, "Nope, too bad, so sad."
  13. Solid gold key chains - dipped in plastic for your protection!
  14. Has anyone tried to use TWO vouchers? Some have reported being able to use either 3 or 4 - I can't remember - vouchers for a bottle of wine.
  15. I'll be there in 12 hours. If I don't post again, you'll know that the gangs got me.
  16. The OP is asking specifically about the Icon, people. Your experience on other ships may have no bearing on this question. RC is indeed restricting bookings. I was unable, for example, to book a JS solo on any sailing. I had to put my daughter's name on the reservation, which i will remove at a later date.
  17. Or maybe they want the menu for Johnny Rockets. 😉
  18. Just watched it on Adventure in the Pub. It's on ESPN. Go Phillies!
