This past April our extended family stayed at Home2Suites pre-cruise. It was a beautiful hotel that included breakfast. Our rooms had a small kitchenette too.

I'm a bit confused...RCI Jewel does have a Solarium. We used it on our recent Jewel sailing.

We've used a shuttle service from MCO. Our choice was Cruise Control for round trip and it worked out great !!

Something similar happened. I had a cruise booked for March 2023 on Navigator. Eventually I noticed that it had disappeared from the RCI website. I called RCI to inquire and was told an email had been sent to me that it had been chartered and I missed the deadline to rebook. They were extremely helpful and rebooked it for January 2023 and price protected my booking even getting my same OS cabin. So not everything turns out badly. Thanks RCI.

No...My DH did not "have" to be out of the cabin. Yes, we could have both been on our phones...but that wasn't what we needed. At times I was texting family on my iPhone and researching new cruises I was going to be booking onboard etc. etc while he was at the pool or the SL. This was the first time we have even thought about a Hotspot but it worked. We had the Voom S/S pkg with two devices. I have no idea how DH did this but it worked.

You might just time it when a staff member happens to be going in/out or a consecutive cruiser.

With one person 2 devices you can also set up a HotSpot and when one of you is in the cabin an additional device can be used also. We used our laptop and I could be watching a movie and using my phone at the same time while DH is out of the cabin. This worked out well for us.

Worked out for me also. I saved on the internet pkg I booked for two of my cruises in 2023. And also saved $900 with a reprice for my Oct 2023 sailing.

We went into stores in both Juneau & Ketchikan this past middle of September. Juneau had the best shopping 70% off everything. It was the Alaska Shirt Company and they had a lot of larger sizes. Wasn't too impressed with the Tongrass Trading Company as it was more expensive.

Their free food was great !!!

I have never had this situation at all, and I make all my bookings over the phone with RCI. I check my email while their still on the phone and open the pdf and print it out. No problem.

If you're in a suite just show them your SeaPass...no need to scan.

I just called twice within 15 min to reprice a couple of cruises and got directly through. Don't give up !!!

Well everything has worked well for me. I called to get a reprice (saved $900) and lost my $50 OBC which I had already used towards my internet. Got an email that I needed to pay $50 now or internet would be cancelled. I went to cruise planner and cancelled it. Received email new amount to be refunded. Repurchased it and received email confirmation. Checked my credit card all seems OK. This has all been crazy and hoping you all have some luck getting everything sorted out.

With the ongoing Black Friday sale I just saved $900.00 on my Oct 2023 Canada NE cruise.

I hope this works on Celebrity Eclipse. I have $900.00 OBC from them for my May 2023 cruise.

We just flew out of YVR .... Had a 12;00pm flight....off the ship and at our gate just before 10:00.

Let me just chime in here. We fly DL often and have never seen DL check carryon bags. In front of us recently was a couple with 3 carryons each and backpacks filled to almost exploding. And in back of us was a girl with two carryons a backpack a large purse and a dog carrier. I for one wish the gate agents would start enforcing policy.

We usually buy one person 2 devices...and we also have been able to create a Hotspot in our cabin so we can use both devices and our laptop at the same time.

San Pedro is my home port only a 45 min drive....so I'll stick with Navigator. We were so happy an RCI ship finally came back to our coast so we will continue to support that.
