  1. I'm seeing the same thing pricing my 7 nighter it seems less to book a one device per person than the old way of booking one person two devices...Crazy !!!
  2. We did the Arctic Circle on Jewel this past July and we felt she was in great Shape. We liked her so much better than our recent cruises on Serenade.
  3. The internet pricing is weird. It used to be a better deal to book one person 2 devices...am I the only one that see's it's better to book one per person now ???
  4. My port survey usually is an addition to my recent onboard surveys.
  5. Saw late last night internet pricing....WOW...has the format changed. Just checked my cruise planner...getting the same message many of you have been getting. GONE SAILING...sounds like IT HAHA !!!
  6. Yes...we saw many Taxis lined up as we were going to do this...but the shuttle ended up a great option for us instead.
  7. We still feel perfectly safe in the town tourist areas. Was just at these ports in January and again last month and will be going again January 2023. Enjoy yourself. Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Cabo. Also Hutalco during our Panama Canal itinerary.
  8. We just did a port stop in Sitka this past September. Booked with a private vendor at the port to do the Raptor Center & Fortress of the Bear...this was a great tour !!!
  9. Mid to late May is our favorite time to cruise Alaska. ISP....Zipline Juneau...try Gold Rush Dog Tours or book with cruiseline Puppy Musher's Camp...prices. Skagway....Chilkoot private tours lot's of options. We did the bus up train down White pass RR. Sitka...Tour vendor at port...Raptor Center & Fortress of the Bear Ketchikan...Absolutely book Bearing Sea Fisherman's Tour. Check prices using your ship or book directly on their website... This is not to be missed !!!
  10. I've been on 7 cruises /5 ships since January and haven't seen the MDR Tutti salad once. Jewel had something similar during lunch in the WJ.
  11. In Mazatlan. Just take one of the taxi's at the port to the Central Mercado Market area. Then have a local point out where the Panama Bakery (should be just around the corner) is have some lunch and then flag down a taxi back to ship. This is a very easy DIY port stop. We were just there this past January and will be back again January 2023. We've done the Mexican Riviera more times than I can count.
  12. We did a shuttle from Tampa cruise port to TPA last month (Oct) and it was $10.00 pp. They are standing right outside luggage claim (but we did self assist) with large signs and the shuttles were sitting just a few steps away. Couldn't have easier and quicker as the shuttle filled up fast and we were on our way.
  13. The WJ on Harmony is one of the best. You won't be disappointed !!
  14. Have done these (Mexican Riviera) ports many times as recently as this past January and will be on her again January 2023. Personally we have never needed a ship excursion for this itinerary.
  15. I booked the July 11 night on Jewel British Isles. Not a bad price. Was on her for her Arctic Circle this past July and she's still in great shape. Excited to sail out of Amsterdam again.
  16. OP said "preferably". Nothing wrong with offering an alternative option.
  17. Agree...and always have small bills...makes it a lot easier.
  18. Just to add to the above. In Puerto Vallarta there will be shuttles waiting just as you get off the ship. They hold 6-8 people...$5.00pp. The one drop off is at the start of the Malecon. To return back to the ship just go a block behind the Malecon (one way street traffic) and flag down a taxi very easy to do however they will only hold maybe 3 adults in the back seat. Make sure you ask for the price before you get in but should be the same price point. Just there on a port stop last month. Enjoy..can't wait until we return again in January.
  19. Then just keep your carryon luggage with you. Don't turn it over to the porters...assuming your luggage meets the carry on requirements to go through the security scanner.
  20. I don't understand some above saying Liberty is a small class ship. I couldn't disagree more. To us a small class is Radiance & Vision class.
  21. When is Liberty due for her next drydock? Since her last one was in 2016 she should be due for one. I'm hoping so as we sail on her Canada/NE in Oct 2023 out of Cape Liberty.
