It looks like you don’t have view sinatures set to on. I found the toggle switch in my own signature, but I’m on my phone so can’t easily point you there. You can’t see signatures except your own on iPhone, but you should be able to see them on your MacBook.

Having been to Kirkwall as well as the many other sights on Orkney on a land trip, Skara Brae was far more interesting than anything to be seen in Kirkwall town itself.

I was just comparing a previous version of the Tour Programme for my cruise (saved in December 2023) with the current one. The previous version clearly showed Included Excursion and Select Excursion headings, with prices for included excursions showing as N/A, and showing prices for select excursions. I just saved the most recent Tour Programme, and now all excursions are under Shore Excursions and all have prices with them. I realize that this might have something to do with the new fare category, but if you are supposed to have included excursions you can't tell anything from this document any more. I realize that you have to be on My Silversea to see this document, where it is easy to see the included excursions (and find out how few of them are left, since many that were formerly included are now considered select), but I still find it a bit irritating.

Well, now the Næroyfjord Cruise that was originally an included excursion, then became a select excursion with the price crossed out and no charge on My Activities has now been cancelled and replaced by a very similar excursion on a different (but nicer and more environmentally better) cruise boat. I will now definitely be charged for it. I hope that the timing will work for my Flåm railway reservation. It should; SS has a Flåm railway excursion at 2:55 PM, which is the second of the 2 trains that I have booked.

In addition, with excursions included one of the main purposes of a roll call (arranging private excursions) isn’t necessary. Also, even if you wanted them, it is not simple to arrange.

There are multiple fare classes in economy. Neither Basic nor Standard include free seat selection. You have to move up to Flex to get a free standard seat or to Latitude to get a free Preferred Seat.

I have had 2 excursions move from included to select. Both show up with crossed out prices in grey, (rather than the select excursion that I chose when it was select, which shows with the price in red). However, of the 2, both show 0 unit cost, but one still shows a total cost of zero and the other shows a cost. So they aren't being consistent in what they are doing.

It doesn't help accessing it, but I have learned to take a photo of the instructions (when they are on the front of the safe) when the safe is low down. At least I don't have to bend down to read it, just to enter the code and put in or take out my stuff. But I must admit, it is much more comfortable when the safe is at a convenient height.

I think that is a really negative side of allowing people to book excursions as soon as they put a deposit on a cruise.

I think @Joanzzzz's and my issue is different. An excursion that was originally included, and we chose it when it was included, is now no longer an included excursion. However, when it became a select excursion, instead of showing the price in red for us (as I see for the real select excursion that I have selected), the price was crossed out, which implies that we were not to be charged. This was consistent with the My Reserved Activities summary, which showed a unit price of $0.00 and a total price of $0.00 for the excursion. When I last checked, absolutely everything was the same; the price is still crossed out, the My Reserved Activities summary shows a unit price of $0.00, however, for me it now shows a total price of $159. (How you can have a unit price of zero create a total price of $159 neither of us can understand.) This has nothing to do with an Essential price, because anyone booking those excursions now would be charged. Nor does it have anything to do with having 2 included excursions selected at the same time because one was waitlisted. That is another issue.

I thought I read that the zipline took you down the steepest part of the descent, and that the descent from the end of the zipline is not so steep.

I renewed mine last year for US$50. Which is what it was when I first applied 10 years ago. For years, we got a great deal compared to Global Entry; now they are harmonizing the costs. Nexus is still a better deal if you occasionally cross the border by car or by plane.

Yes, we cycled a lot of it on my bike and barge trip. It crosses the Moselle a number of times, and most of it was quite scenic.
