  1. NO problems with either website or app - Desktop - Edge - Iphone 10XR - updated
  2. 5th - solid showing, but not a lot of 'camera time'. I believe it's back on 10/23 for the Homestead/Miami Speedway race
  3. our next cruise is on CB in November - we have a deluxe (true aft) balcony on Baja that our price is currently below the website price (those cabins come and go as available, guarantee, or sold out). we have no desire to upgrade/bid on a mini or cc mini (don't like the shower/tub) combo. There are currently no suites showing as available, so, as for now we are set. If a suite 'did' become available, we would have to decide what that 'value' would be to us over a 5 day cruise. Our one and only, so far, suite was an 'upsell' which now looks like those may be a thing of the past.
  4. Not that I am aware - but you can always call and ask if you see a price drop in the same category of cabin you booked
  5. my Medicare supplement policy - (united healthcare thru aarp) reimbursed my complete medical center expenses on Regal Princess ($1,200) for medical emergency back in January. my AON (purchased thru Princess at booking - Platinum - is paying (per an e-mail just yesterday) a couple of deductibles - $90+35 that I had after returning home for an ER and cardiologist visit. this happened on board while docked at Grand Turk
  6. We had it - not sure now about what ship and date - but we got it along with the fish and chips
  7. Qualifying now on USA Network - Princess car looks good ... looks like Suarez will advance - opps - not now - to the final round of qualifying ( just outside top 10 ) - now he's back in top 10 - 5th in Group B so final round of qualifying will begin soon - Suarez guaranteed to start in top 5 rows - pending that pesky inspection thingy ... maybe Princess will get some exposure - but not sure Princess is the NASCAR cruise line of choice -
  8. No suites currently available (per princess website) for our cruise on CB in late November
  9. I like it ... it "might" level the playing field - book the cabin / price you want - still watch for price decreases (wonder if they will be as easy as before to get the re-fare?) it all depends on the Princess transparency with the 'bidding' process I'll follow and see if it works for us on the CB in November - but we already have a deluxe true balcony, because that's what we wanted at an acceptable price point. No harm, no foul - unless you are used to "freebies"
  10. SWEET - I'll be watching - well , I would have been anyway ...
  11. Bartenders, etc in VINES? Current Production shows? we cruise on CB in November, and well aware that who/what's going on now can very easily change
  12. Ain't Cruise Critic great for Princess !! Free beta testing for any and all new rollouts ... Hope they are paying attention
  13. I'm curious - what would be your solution?
  14. my 'rum girl wife' likes the Dunes martini in Crooners - I'm a simple man - give me a cold beer, a decent Cab, and a single malt scotch and I'm all good ... and lots of Pelligrino's and Perrier's (whichever is available) ... and throw in a few Jamesons in my coffee
  15. Both PLUS and Premier are 'cruise fare' additions - so OBC can't apply ... unless of course... Princess now, if you still have any FCC left over from prior cruise(s) - that's different
  16. so this crew member you spoke to ... what was the reason Princess 'can't' fill crew staff? Are past crew now not willing? No new crew applying? Visa's? Covid? Training?
  17. Yep, you did your homework ( while on the phone ) and it paid off as the rep could just look at it. Well played We kinda, sorta, did the balcony upgrade onboard from a deluxe balcony (covered by Nurse promotion) to a Premium deluxe balcony (not offered) once we got onboard - had the cabin number ready - yes sir, no charge ... well, what about an upgrade to a suite? ... don't push it ...🤑
  18. Sparkling water is included Perrier and Pelligrino in small bottles
  19. are you booking ... directly with Princess? thru a Princess CVP (cruise vacation planner)? or a 3rd party TA/big box/etc.?
  20. well, I wish Princess would sail from Port Canaveral ... maybe port one of the new LNG Sphere class ships there? The Princess Cruises Sphere Class Vessel Will be the First in the Fleet Powered by LNG The Sphere Class vessel will be the first in the Princess fleet to run on LNG, the marine industry's most environmentally friendly advanced fuel technology and the world's cleanest fossil fuel which is energy-saving and reduces emissions.
  21. must have "one free hand" to use the escalators... is that still a thing? I have some balance issues so we just wait for an elevator
