    What is your impression of the ship? Condition? Food? Entertainment? Indoor pool area? Cabin? We will be aboard her for an Iceland cruise in September.

    That seems reasonable to me. I just never get the urge to have a drink in the morning, but no shame if you do.

    Perhaps it is simply Princess' way to shield other passengers from drunken, loutish behavior (and vomit)? Who enjoys being around people who have had 16-30 (or more) drinks? 15 seems pretty generous. I can be a fairly heavy drinker, at times, but I limit my drinking hours to about 4pm-8pm.

    I think 15 is more than reasonable. Most Princess cruisers are not Spring Breakers and shouldn't try to act like they are.

    I just did a dummy booking for my Iceland cruise on the Island Princess in September. No balconies available and mid-aft is "guaranteed only" for one or two people. For 3, you can still choose a cabin. If you choose a "refundable" booking but are then forced to pick a guaranteed cabin, does your deposit then become non-refundable?

    Is it just me? 🙃 Constant use of acronyms makes it hard to follow threads, especially when you aren't starting at the original post. For example: "CC" can refer to Cruise Critic; credit card; club class; call center; et al. If posters have time to contribute opinions, would it be possible to spell out more of the subjects to which you are referring? Thanks! 😵‍💫

    Use magnetic hooks and binder clips. Ask your cabin steward for a queen-size bed sheet. (No need to carry a shower curtain.) Put binder clips on the sheet (will not damage the sheet) and hood the binder clip handles on the magnetic hooks. Voila, two separate rooms! 😴

    I always laminate my tags with wide, clear, packaging tape and put a loop of tape around the bottom instead of staples. Invariably, I have to find a knife to remove them, but at least I'm sure they won't come off accidentally. For my upcoming cruise we will each have the plastic zip-lock holders with the cable. (I will use one of each just to be safe.)

    Does messaging/texting only work with iphones? Not with Android phones?

    This is the first time I've heard of a free spa on the Island. What does it include? Sauna? Steam room? When we traveled around South America on the Crown, I utilized the "free" sauna several times.
