  1. If you chose to change from fixed to open dining to guarantee you early sitting I don't think there would be any problem eating early especially at 5-30pm. But I think the MDR would not have many diners in and would have very little atmosphere. I do not what system is used as never cruised with open dining on Cunard, but on other cruise lines they generally ask if you want a table for 2 or would you be happy to share. It is then up to you and if you want to share usually you tell the size of table required.
  2. I am not suggesting it is something I would do just giving the Op information as requested.
  3. We have only used coach once and we had to be picked up at Keele services on M6. Which is north for us so going in opposite direction to Southampton. When we got on coach, which had come from Glasgow, we set off and coach driver announced next service station was stopping an hour for breakfast. Obviously those who had been on from Glasgow were delighted for us we had been on coach and service station for 1.5hrs and was as close to home than when we started. Never again.
  4. Less than a mile and depending on ability and what luggage you are carrying would take less than 30 mins.
  5. No official EITA required as yet for UK travellers travelling to Europe, it has been put back to November 2033.
  6. Cannot see H&S as a valid excuse as it is currently being prepared and served tableside in some of the restaurants on Cunard.
  7. Yes and like I said just your opinion many over 25s wear light blue denim and look elegant and just as smart as dark denim.
  8. Does it really matter which way you walk around promenade deck. Who really cares.
  9. QE is our favourite but we sailed on QV as we only sail from Southampton so currently have no option. We had no complaints on the standard or cleanliness of the ship but 1 or 2 meals at lunch in PG were very poor quality. I just hope they improve for November when we go on her again.
  10. No you will still get the applicable OBC
  11. Don't forget if you book Early Saver you are not guaranteed of a cabin in a higher grade and even though classified as an upgrade might not be in a better position.
  12. Let's hope he realises what day he goes and turns up for the right date 😁
  13. I shouldn't think it will be before September and probably later than that.
  14. Or change cruise lines altogether. Wouldn't pay the high prices P&O charge for balcony cabins on Aurora/Arcadia would prefer Queen Victoria with gar better food and cruise experience.
  15. I agree as loyalty to P&O should be the same for everyone and everyone should have the same in return as a member of Peninsular Club whatever ship they are on.
  16. It can vary which side the ship docks so not always possible to guarantee.
  17. Have to apply for ESTA's for my future roundtrip TA to New York on QM2. Looking at website it says you can apply for individual or group. Is it acceptable for a married couple going at the same time to apply for a group ESTA or is it best to apply for 2 separate individual ESTA's.
  18. All I can say if people on holiday get up at 6am especially to put towel/book on a sunbed are really sad and want their heads shaking. When ever you speak to people everybody agrees so where do these people come from as I am pretty certain that there are not many Germans on onboard.
  19. I always order Starter, Soup, Entree and dessert. Love cheese and biscuits but fussy about what cheese and because now don't serve a cheeseboard and it is served played I give it a miss.
  20. That is why whenever you book a cruise you should ask, or your TA should tell you, different pricing. Your TA obviously did their correct job on making you aware.
  21. If I was onboard I would have a go. Very worthy charity if you are not successful and if you are a lot cheaper than some of the *rap P&O charge to see in the Limelight Club.
