  1. I am only ignroing you on that one thread on that one topic which I won't mention which was getting out of hand, There is a benifit to their programs reprocity but the points don't combine and the benefits are different.
  2. I dunno. Seems like they might want to a have PUP opportunity to market their cruise itineraries from Port Canaveral……
  3. I agree Equinox is a great ship but in my opinion is another bean ounter move by the new CEO. First adding itineraries that do Coco Cay and now Equinox doing Labadee.
  4. Celebrity is dumbing down their itineraries more with this move but I don't think Celebrity is the best cruise line for lifetime cruise to Antarctica. One of the Expedition type cruise lines where you land on the continent in a zodiac would be a lot better.
  5. Your C&A points do not follow you to Celebrity. You get reciprocal benefits at some tier levels. The points stay separate. You will have zero points if you never cruised on Celebrity but if you are for example Diamond on Royal Caribbean you will get their Elite Benifits. Points earned on Celebrity will not add to Royal points. Royal points do not add to Celebrity points. Royal's loyalty program is better than Celebrity's, you won't get the same benefits but on the other hand Celebrity is a somewhat better cruise line.
  6. What I have seen from time to time happens when posts have been deleted from a thread or the moderators combine threads and add posts from another thread.
  7. If you wear a shirt they can get inside the shirt and your body. Males better to not wear a shirt and not wear long trunks. Females should wear two piece bathing suits.
  8. I don't know if this is what you are seeing but one thing I have noticed is that if the moderators have deleted some posts or combined threads that the thread might disappear from my Content I Posted in activity stream until someone makes a new post.
  9. Unfortunately self serve buffets at any public venue have the same types. Magnified on cruises as there are large crowds using the buffet. I prefer the “buffets” where they have someone serving the food. Non self serve. Like on Oceania.
  10. Tony at La Lido Loca is a travel agent who posts clickbait for clicks and busness. No cruise line should play his video.
  11. Off the pier is relative. The tram stop is marked on the first map. In post #2. What it shows on the second map as a train stop is obsolete. But that second map shows the Dockyard.
  12. I don't care either if they got a free cruise or perks I just want to know if they write an article if they got a free cruise or perks. On YouTube I appreciate the influncers who disclose they were sent a product to review. I can still learn from the review but I want to know.
  13. It was not clear that you were asking about the Kings Wharf stop. Kings Wharf and Heritage Wharf are in the Royal Navel Dockyard. The reason I am answering this way as there are going to be other people besides you reading the answer and might think the ships are docked at a far away place. Unfortunately they discontinued the tram stop at Kings Wharf in the Dockyard a number of years ago.
  14. Which blogger? I would like to check if they are disclosing the freebies.
  15. It is not very far to the museum and Keep from either ship berth. The whole Dockyard is the fort. There is a free tram that goes around the Dockyard.
  16. Really the ship berths are in the Dockyard. There is a tram that runs around the Dockyard but the stop is almost all the way to the ferry dock. The tram has replaced the train. Some of the I tram stops are on this map. The Orange circles not the yellow.
  17. They put Bromine or Chlorine in a hot tub to sanitize it. You could get a rash if too much is put in but the rash would not persist. It may be that the person has a chlorine sensitivity. If the person is using a pool often that might be a reason it reappears.
  18. They don’t do day passes anymore. For the cave and massages I believe you can book the spa. I don’t think that includes the beach. You can contact them.
  19. Yes. closed to the public. That does not mean the US has abandoned Haiti. There are still embassy personnel in the country and there is an emergency number. This is all far away from Labadee. I don't think anyone has been planning to visit the embassy even if it were open.
