  1. Regardless if you have a package or not the medallion gets you on and off the ship, opens your cabin door and acts as your cruise card for charging goods and services. There are 2 lines at the port green line = you have your medallion. Blue line = you are picking up your medallion Casual ding are venues not complimentary but not considered specialty dining. These venues usually charge $14.95 for a 3 course meal and are usually open for dinner
  2. Princess is known for having lots of trivia and audience participation game shows
  3. Exactly they never book the whole restaurant in advance we have never had a problem booking through the dine line once on board
  4. Just one more example of why I will not cruise any ship for the first 2 months. There are always things that aren’t ready or need to get fixed
  5. If you are ordering from a menu you will know the price otherwise just ask the bartender what fits in your package. The plus package limit per drink is $15
  6. Anything over the limit will be charged the difference between the cost and your limit plus 18% on that difference
  7. Yes both MDR meals breakfast, dinner and lunch on sea days are included. Also buffet and lido deck pizza and grill are also included. Oh and International Cafe. You will not starve
  8. Tendering over is fine to Cabo. Tendering back is a disaster there is priority tendering back to shore so be prepared to stand in line for a long time in the heat
  9. 30 degrees and eating outside is not for me
  10. I still say the premier package has too many things we don’t.use. 95% of our drinks are covered by the plus package? We no longer care about photos most ships we sail only have a few casual eateries and we don’t like the Gastropub. Just can’t justify the $20 per person extra on 2 or 3 week 🚢
  11. The piazza is the glitz venue but with the height, the loud music and all the open food and drink areas around it just make it deafening. I will take the smaller ships we only sail this class if there is an itinerary we really want
  12. That’s why we pay for the Plus package
  13. There are 10 servers one per 2 guests and the host doing commentary
  14. Yeah doubles are great but they do add up fast with that 15 drink limit
  15. The DaVinci also has space set aside for Reserve dining so it may be harder to get tables there
  16. There is no Sabatini’s since the space is currently used for Harmony although there have been rumors that it will change sometime down the line. Depending on the cruise and weather it sometimes seems too cold for the noodle bar
  17. There are never enough usb connections on any ship we bring a device that lets us charge 5 devices at a time
  18. We never reserve in advance. We just call the dine line when we board and arrange a time. They know that they need to save space for full suites. Or if you are on a Royal class ship just see the concierge when you board. We have never had a problem and we have booked full suites for 10 years
  19. Not the way the packages are currently set up. I cruise with plus package and I get 2 casual meals on my 10 day cruise in January and on my 16 day cruise next month same thing. But on b2b 7 day cruises this summer I will get 4. Just the way they have it set up
  20. Some VIP cruises come with drinks in the casino but otherwise it is a matter of getting to know the casino host but I doubt they are going to gift you unlimited drinks. We always have the plus package so it is kind of moot for us
