  1. At least 98% of the time. The only issue would probably be if there were 2 Princess ships in at the same time
  2. On the app look under packages I believe and it will show how many drinks for the day If you don’t differentiate by individual then it would be possible for 1 person to have 30 drinks. When I was quarantined with Covid 6 months ago and my wife was allowed to come and go. When you are quarantined whether you have a package or not room service drinks are free and not charged to the package so under your scenario she could have gotten 30 drinks. It is not the accounting system it is the bartenders it is faster and easier to put everything on one account. So we always tell them to put one against each account so that one of us doesn’t max out in the evening
  3. 1. Your app does show how many alcoholic drinks have been put against your package 2. If the made it 30 for two people instead of individually then on a day when my wife is feeling a little peaked and only has say 3 drinks then I could drink 27 drinks. You would not want to see that
  4. Usually get an email one day after the cruise but you can check the folio daily on the app
  5. I have only had this happen once and it did not put me over my limit although I did go to GS to make sure. Our biggest issue is having both of our drinks put on my account which means I sometimes have trouble later in the evening. Because of that we always tell them to put one drink on each account
  6. The same thing in SF 2months ago. Just walked right through
  7. Only if they are slow getting off the ship.
  8. We always do the 2 day trip on the Cascades route. We take the 10:40 from Portland gets to Seattle 2:05. Overnight with a nice dinner. Then 2nd day 8:30 train to Vancouver 12:30. You do need to get to Seattle station a little early for passport check and be aware there are sometimes delays. We get in 1 day before sailing
  9. So how do you tip those people on board who do things for you that you never see ?
  10. Assuming everyone in your group has a medallion and the minor is listed as a travel companion then the locate function of the app will allow you to see where he is on board
  11. Believe it or not the vendor for the art gallery pays Princess a lot of money to run it
  12. That is a travel group I would not want to be associated with. I have shamed my own friends who do want to tip on land or sea
  13. Here in Portland we say that the only time you can’t get along with jeans and sneakers are weddings and funerals. Most people don’t even own ties
  14. Again I am referring to people who will say I don’t like anything on the menu tonight make me something different
  15. It all depend on customs but every cruise I have been on disembarkation was usually between 7-8 unless there was a customs or Coast Guard hold
  16. In our 70’s now beaches are not the draw they were 30 years ago. LOL
  17. We are big on penthouse suites on Grand class and even Royal class. The Sun does not interest me.
  18. So just ask to have that allergy noted and they will create some substitutions. I am more referring to comments lately about not enough meat dishes or too much seafood. If my wife eats peanuts she has to be rushed to the infirmary so we always ask tons of questions and often they have to go back and ask the chefs
  19. Even on ports we have been to tons of times it is great to go ashore and eat lunch at a favorite restaurant or find a new favorite
  20. Gratuities are only optional if you have the gall to go to guest services and remove them.
  21. No one forces you to use room service or OceanNow. You can get food and beverage all over the ship. I would hardly call that steerage Do the keep you out of the theatre or MDR ? This is not the Titanic
  22. You realize that was a year ago. Life goes on and things change
  23. We do the train ride in 2 parts Oregon to Seattle overnight and the Seattle to Vancouver very relaxing
  24. We never bid for upgrades on our casino freebies. We get a free balcony and at the same time pay the difference for a full suite. We only want to travel in suites why would we take the chance
  25. Breakfast door hanger service is still free. Phoning room service is a charge unless you have a package. Where have you been ? This is not that new
