  1. Even "portable " boards, flying with them? Really?
  2. Agree. ANY additional is greatly appreciated. Having said that, the currency of HAL on board is US dollars. Doesn't mean they don't appreciate anything else...
  3. This thread is about the N. Amsterdam, and was active 3 years ago. Not the N Statendam, which wasn't even launched when the N. Amsterdam had this problem. There is absolutely no relationship, that I can see.
  4. Isn't the thread and OP talking about a guarantee booking? Putting a "no upgrade" notation on a guarantee booking is sort of nonsensical.
  5. I agree with looking hard at itinerary first. You will Dowell on all 3 ships, so itinerary is more important.
  6. They will be operating out of San Diego, like they have the last couple of years.
  7. You can check the price using the Uber estimator on their website. Surge prices are always possible. The cheapest place to get Uber/Lyft is the center parking area, where there is a ride share pick up area. Check the SFO website for maps and directions.
  8. Club Orange is supported by the MDR galley...so you should get the same items as the MDR folks.
  9. If you look about 10 threads down the board, you will see your other post and a couple replies.
  10. If you are a Costco member, check their car rentals. They typically don't have fees or restrictions on one way rentals.
  11. We don't know your situation as we don't know you. The increased distance is 3/4s of a mile, according to Google Maps, on a wide, flat sidewalk.
  12. That would be very surprising. The island isn't that big. I think part of it is some sort wildlife preserve.
  13. I think, for a number of reasons, it's a stretch to compare GT and HMC. However, 2 ships visiting each location is not new.
  14. It's been reported a number of times they aren't being enforced.
  15. The delay getting off sounds like a CPB problem, not necessarily a HAL problem. HAL wants everyone off ASAP.
  16. Gym doesn't have showers. The showers in the pool area are for rinsing off after swim or hot tub. Only other possibilities would be in the spa area, which I think would be for the spa customers.
  17. Mestre will be cheaper. But the atmosphere staying in Venice is great. What time is your flight?
  18. Transfers aren't on a fixed schedule, such as a bus leaves every XX minutes or similar. The buses line up, waiting for the ship to clear and start off loading, and leave when full.
  19. Someone else reported the same experience 3 or 4 days ago.
