What do you consider ballroom dancing? We have been on cruises where there were passengers that wanted to show off their dancing. They got out on the dance floor and apparently wanted the whole area to themselves. Others joined in and it appeared as if they were insulted that others that weren’t as talented took away their space and immediately left the floor. They wanted to be the stars and show off the routine they had been practicing. There is ballroom dancing music in the mix but don’t expect everyone to be trained ballroom dancers. They are on the floor enjoying themselves and not trying to impress anyone. They may get in your space. Hope this is helpful Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

On our last cruise someone took one of our door magnets. I told my Butler and he said they can look at the security cameras. I didn’t pursue it as I felt if someone cruising on Celebrity is that hard up that they need a magnet then let them have it. There were also over 400 children on board so it may have been one of them. Let them have their fun. I didn’t want them to get in trouble. We were all kids at one time and did stupid pranks. I felt it was a pay back for what I did. Burning bag on the porch fill with dog poop. , ringing doorbells. T P ing trees, waxing windows, letting air out of tires, potato in the exhaust pipe, I could go on and on. It was only a swivel hook magnet that we used to hold up the door decoration. I bought them on Amazon. Paid $14 for ten 60 lb magnets. Being as strong as it was it didn’t fall off. Just be prepared to losing it to a prankster going back to their cabin after the bars close. If it is something that you treasure then let security know and they will get it back thru photo recognition and maybe ban them from cruising on X again. I didn’t want that to happen to anyone who was also just having ‘fun” Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

There are set times when they are open. You show up anytime during those hours just like any land based restaurant Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I think It is another one of Kelly’s design for looks over comfort. The seating isn’t that comfortable. It is windy and in the sun. Nothing that I want or desired to hangout at. I been on the Edge class ships for at least 2 months in total and probably spent 30 minutes at that bar, and that was to try one of the drinks on their menu. I guess it depends on what you like. If you like being on the sun, and wind then it would be OK. To answer your question there is no line waiting to get on and it usually isn’t crowded. Always seats available. You just walk in like any other bar or lounge. Didn’t notice anything special about the view. No different that sitting on your balcony or anywhere else with an ocean view. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

On one cruise dining in Luminae for embarkation day lunch there was a woman waiting for a window table. Those tables don’t mean much to us so we took what was available. She got her table and it was adjacent or ours, as soon as she sat down she complained that there was a stain on the curtain. She demanded another table with a clean curtain. They apologized and said there was nothing else available and it would be a long wait for another table to open. During the whole lunch she complained about everything. That evening she came in while we were there and was seated at another window table. She got up and went to the table that she was at for lunch and looked at the curtain. She screamed across the dining room for the Matre D that the curtain was still stained and the window was dirty. The whole situation made a very uncomfortable dining experience but was rather comical. I don’t know what really happened but we never seen her again. I would like to see the condition of her house. I doubt it was as clean as Raymond’s mother Marie’s house or what she expected from Celebrity. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I had a room in Las Vegas. The mirror was on the ceiling over the bed. 🤷‍♂️🙄🤗 The room also had a quarter slot machine. I tried playing it and all it did was make the bed vibrate. 🙁 There was also a slot machine in the bathroom. All I won was long balloons, and I kept winning them???? Gave up after the 10th time. I ended up filling them up with water and throwing them out the window on the people below. It was a grand time. I played some more to get them as it was fun doing that. 🤓🤪 Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I don’t know what others expect for drink service but I have never had a problem. We were on the Beyond in March in Luminae. Did we get served drinks as soon as we sat down? No. It was no different that any land based restaurant. It was in a reasonable time and we weren’t lacking. The sommelier kept our glasses full after he got our order When in the buffet for lunch there were times where the service could have been better but we eventually got served. Sometimes longer than we wanted but it is what it is. They do a great job with all of the passengers they have to service and everyone can’t be served right now. No matter what you think you are not their only customer, they also have others to take care of. After taking your order they may also have to deal with the service bar. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

What category are you in? Have you considered booking AQ? The price includes the internet, gratuities and classic drink pack, plus dining in Blu. Sometimes the difference considering what you get isn’t that much more and changes a nice cruise into a fantastic one. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

The Beyond has a better layout for the Martini Bar, and also has a World Class Bar The Sunset bar is also nicer. There is also the plunge pools by the Sunset bar. Cafe al Bacio is laid out different. For the most part all of the Edge class are about the same (other than the bars noted ) except for the Retreat areas and that shouldn’t affect you. If you were booking a suite I would recommend the Beyond. Haven’t been on the Ascent so I can’t comment. Since you are Zenith and get the premium bev pack I would say the Beyond. Think of the Beyond as the Silhouette or Reflection compared to he Solstice Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

They have free liquor tastings nightly in the duty free shop. Most times you can get free drinks in the casino when playing or a promotion for a brand of liquor. Get a free glass of bubbly at the art auctions and some of the stores during a promotion. Buy a bucket of beer. Get 6 for the price of 5. Tell them you don’t want them opened. Sit at the Martini bar when they are doing their Flair Show and get one of the drinks they pass out after. If you see me on a cruise follow me around as I leave many drinks after one sip. 😱🤗 I will try a beer and it doesn’t taste good, or get a drink from the menu and I don’t like it I will leave them. Go to the Elite Breakfast and get Bloody Mary’s, Sparking wine or a Mimosa. I don’t remember if they serve Bellinis. Use a cane that is actually a flask filled with liquor. 👍🙄. I often wonder if it would be possible to smuggle liquor on board by using a walker that is actually a flask filled with liquor. Many years ago I was at a NFL game. There was 4 guys next to me and one of them asked for the binoculars because he wanted to get a closer look at the cheerleaders that were now in front of us. He took the caps off and put them to his eyes and ended up with liquor pouring into them. He didn’t know it was a flask. The other 3 guys couldn’t stop laughing the rest of the game and kept ribbing him. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I am surprised that I don’t get them served with my breakfast when in Blu or Luminae. I guess they feel that the mushrooms ( fungus ) and asparagus spear goes better with breakfast. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I grill cauliflower on my pellet grill. It makes a great appetizer served with a dip when entertaining during the summer while waiting for the brisket to be done. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

We usually do the same. One of our favorites is the one with the eggplant. I think it is Eggplant Parmesan. One time in Blu when we aren’t in a suite to try something different we ordered the Beyond Burger as the entree it was very good. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I think they went with the NRD deposit option to keep passengers from booking many cruises that they had no intention of taking. In the past people would book many cruises when they came out to lock up the prime or most desirable locations. Right before final payment they would cancel but wanted the option in case they felt like taking a cruise. I seen this happen on cruises that I booked. The cabins with the larger balconies would be booked within a few hours of being rolled out. At final payment those cabins would become available. I know because I kept checking so I could change cabins and get one of them. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

We had an end cabin. The big end box is an obstruction and the window on the end always seemed to be covered with mist making it opaque. You can look out at others on their deck but they can also see you, many see that as a negative. Our butler told us that some passengers with those cabins ask for something to cover the window because they want more “privacy”. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

The games they are playing. Book early and get the best prices and promos. I have made 2 bookings in the last month and would have gained by the current promo if I booked now. Both are with NRD and the gain plus more would be lost by the MRD. On both cruises I would have gained about $150 in OBC considering the increase in the cruise price. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Have you ever been to the Thermal Suite? If not I would highly recommend visiting first. We were in AQ for 2 weeks and used the place twice. First time all of the loungers were occupied. We went to the various rooms. Very boring and didn’t see the purpose of sitting in a room with a salt block, or crystal. The dry heat? Or the steam room? I can sit on my balcony in the caribbean and have the same effect. Salt, hot and humid. The shower is like walking thru a car wash. It is a corridor with different spray heads. Not individual like the S class. When we finally we able to get loungers they were in the sun and not as comfortable as those on the S class. The loungers are under a slanted window, during the day the sun will beat on you and they are rather difficult to get into and out of. I am 5’ 10”, flexible and have a BMI under 24 for reference. They are close together and have low over head because of being under the slanted window. We went back one more time to see if our opinion changed. It didn’t. Never went back. Like many things on the E class it is more for design and not function or comfort. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

It has a larger balcony and the cabin is actually larger. We sailed in one of those with a larger balcony on a b2b. We couldn’t get the same cabin so we had to switch. The cabin we switched to was about 3 or 4 foot shorter in depth. The Persian Garden perks is useless as it isn’t the same as on the S class or E class. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Wind pudding and air sauce 🤗. Very few taste as good as they look. Mostly sweet with no flavor. As others wrote not worth the calories. Go to the Martini Bar and get a Desert Martini. 🍸 Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
