  1. Does anyone have the email address handy for the Custom Air Dept? Or perhaps can answer a question on which airport Regent uses in Rio De Janeiro and in Buenos Aires. Both cities have two international airports, and both appear to be used by multiple airlines. Just wondering if it makes any difference when selecting flights. Thx
  2. Whatever you do, be flexible and don't be afraid of code share designations. My wife and I and another couple, are booked on a 14 day Athens to Rome Cruise with a 3 day pre-cruise land program in Athens this fall. Our initial requests for Delta flights out of Birmingham, AL and Mobile, AL connecting in Atlanta, and returning from Rome also connecting in Atlanta to Birmingham and Mobile were basically offered with a very significant up charge. It was suggested by TA to look at the same flights the day prior. We were offered the same flights, a day earlier, with no up charge. Both couples booked first class to Atlanta from Birmingham and Mobile. My Atlanta to Athens tickets are on a KLM flight (operated by Delta) and the other couple booked on the same flight, except it was the actual Delta flight Atlanta to Athens. Return flights are all Delta Rome to Atlanta and then on to Birmingham and Mobile. Go figure.
  3. A kludgy solution at best since you are only shown six available cabins at a time in a given category/deck. I’ve often thought it would be nice to see a complete deck with each cabin labeled as available or not, along with color coding representing the category.
  4. Bring your own Costco brand if it makes you happy. Who cares?
  5. Your domestic flight legs will not necessarily be economy. If you are ticketed on the same airline, then you will probably be first class on those domestic legs. At least this has been true for me for multiple Regent cruises.
  6. Hope springs eternal. Good luck with your strategy.
  7. No. Login is required regardless of where you are on the ship.
  8. Exactly right. Where the heck was the butler?
  9. Actually, if it is a refundable OBC, then yes, you can obtain the cash and use it in the casino, otherwise, no.
  10. You do understand the article was from the last drydock, 5 years ago, right?
  11. Pappy— the operative word there is “Modern”. If IT infrastructure isn’t so modern, then some sort of dead-lock condition may have occurred resulting in queued updates. Mike Moore can probably comment on that possibility. From my personal experience making dining reservations for traveling companions, I didn’t see any of that sort of delay, but then I was making all of the reservations with the multiple booking numbers. Just a thought…
  12. I would be more inclined to think the issue was related to database locking since all of you were updating the same records with reservation info concurrently.
  13. Correct. Not sure, but you may still get the airport to hotel transfer if Regent has flight info. Perhaps someone can answer that for sure.
  14. Makes no difference to your bank account. Your TA will be charged, and you will pay.
  15. Thx, guys. It makes sense that 2 segments equals 2 reservations. We shall see in a month or so.
  16. It was booked as a single cruise. Thx
  17. We are on a 14 day Mediterranean cruise this Fall. The cruise is also being marketed as two 7 day cruises. When making our dining reservations this summer, will we be allowed to make one two per restaurant (one for each segment), or be limited to a single reservation per restaurant? thx
  18. Alaska Bound-- Are you on the 7 day Athens to Athens, or the 14 day Athens to Rome? Like you, very excited
