Visit from the upgrade fairy...Serenade. I have questions

We just got a call from the upgrade fairy and went from an E1 balcony to a TS - 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite. :D We are beyond excited, but now I have a several questions.

We are Diamond, Diamond plus and Emerald. Will the Emerald be allowed to join us in the Diamond lounge? Are there any other perks besides getting double the Crown and Anchor points? What is concierge service?

What are the balcony configurations on the TS? It looks like a wrap around.

The Emerald status person cannot enter the Diamond lounge. If the ship has a suite lounge, that person can enter. Someone will correct me if I’m mistaken.

Only D and above in the DL.

If the Emerald is in your cabin then you may all visit he CL which is for D+, a Pinnacles and Suites.

No suite lounge on Serenade but they may use the Concierge lounge.

Two bedroom suites are included in suite class, everyone in your suite has suite benefits and can use concierge lounge

The Diamond lounge and concierge lounge are both on 13 deck. Since you are now staying in a suite everyone including emerald C &A member can use concierge lounge for coffee in morning and drinks and appetizers in the evening.

Great upgrade but I don't think you get double points since you didn't pay for it. In the past you would but i believe they changed that rule a few years ago. Sorry.

Great upgrade but no double points. If it was an upsell, you would get the double points.

Bummer about the double points, as double points is what the RCL agent told me I would get. And, I was excited about moving up a notch. But I fully understand why they wouldn't.

It would not surprise me if you get double points. Have a great cruise.

What I've seen it's hit or miss with double points. Not supposed to get them with upgrade but might anyway. Been watching price drops for this cruise, had 2 and at one time 3 of the 2bd 2bath cabins available still as of few days ago. Congrats! I got one last Fall on the BOS/FLL repo all to myself. Enjoy!

As D+ we always prefer the Concierge Lounge. As mentioned, everyone booked in the suite will have the same privileges. You'll likely be very happy with the CL. It is usually much less crowded, quieter, and in my experience, better run than the Diamond Lounge. Enjoy!

That'll be great because the Diamond Lounge usually gets packed in the evening. Also, my parents are D+ and will be able to join us in the CL as well. But the view isn't as nice, if I recall?

In researching, others have said it was a Royal Family Suite.

I believe a Gold Suite Card will allow access to DL. I confirmed this on two cruises prior to making Diamond. Also access to the CL.
