Haven't seen lknick on the boards here for a while.... name change, maybe? He used to be such a regular part of this board, even for those of us who spend most of our time lurking...

He hasn't posted since November - doubt he'd be on holidays that long, especially when he lives in Florida, I believe. Maybe he is ill. Hope not.

Just thought - maybe he's on the World Cruise.

World Cruise didn't begin until January. He didn't post the whole month of December.

I remember that post Ruth. He had posted that once before though and, I think, he had been 'reprimanded' once, so I didn't take him seriously. I guess he meant it.

As many of you may know, I am retired military and currently a contractor. It seems some person or persons unknown of the Iraqi nationality [or maybe cruise critic posters] on December 4th took offense and blew my humvee off the Baghdad Airport road, leaving me in the ditch with two broken ankles, two broken wrists and a destroyed elbow. A prosthesis replaced the elbow, but unfortunately it became infected. Am now fighting the infection. Other things are healing nicely.

 

I now have trouble typing, so my appearances will be limited.

 

So, I haven’t been kicked off, nor am I annoyed at anyone.

I feel so sad that this happened. I hope you will heal well and quickly. Be sure to do whatever therapies they recommend so you can enjoy full use of all those parts!! It sounds like a lot of hurting to me:( . Take good care.
