Your pics are absolutely beautiful, I am so enjoying them this morning! Are you using an iPad to send these, I want to do this on my cruise! When you return and have time, please tell me your secrets! I noticed you sailed to on the 6 night Bermuda on the Enchantment..when you return, could you possibly tell me the showtimes on that cruise.

Thank you so much....I will be enjoying cruising right along with you.

Uh....you're on the 6 night Enchantment WITH all of us nuts!:p

shows will be (except the 1st night and formal night) AROUND 7ish and around 9ish.... when there is only 1 show, it should be 10-about.....

if you're concerned about MTD and shows, if you go before 7 you can hit the late show...if you go closer to 8 you should be able to get to the early show...

for some reason, we're able to get to them-we generally eat fairly early (i can't eat late-bad for my ulcer) and wer're able to get to the later show...(if we make it that long....Ken and Wally usually keep us entertained.)

Ahh. . . My home for the next 12 nights

Lovely room! I would love to lay my head there for 12 nights! We just finished a 10 night Explorer cruise out of Bayonne a few weeks ago, so this thread will be great to follow.

One question....are you retired? I know you cruise several times a year and I am guessing you must be retired, or self employed to have that much vacation time........lucky you!

Good Morning Radio!

I have my cup of tea in hand and I am all set for some cruise porn!

We had the same captain when we sailed on the Solstice. He has a fantastic sense of humour and I am sure you are going to love him!

We are in the middle of deciding whether to sail with Royal or Celebrity next May for my birthday (its a big one and will be easier to cope with on the sea than on land). I think this live report may sway the vote. Love them both but your pictures and reports are making me want to go Celebrity.

I guess it will depend on who is sailing from Baltimore or NJ at that time as I love the option to drive from Ontario instead of flying.

Thank you for taking us along!

I wish you sunshine and calm seas!

Haven't been on a Celebrity ship in a while and just booked Silhouette for Spring Break 2013 while on Mariner 2 weeks ago. Imagine my surprise to be checking out the Celebrity boards and find that Radio is sailing on Silouette and doing a Live! report:D Fabulous!!!

I am so excited to be able to check out the ship ahead of time! Thanks for all you do for us CCers Radio!!:D

I would love to see the adult only lap pool area and if you can, find out how much it is to "rent" one of the cabanas up on the lawn area?!

I am sooo excited to follow along!!!

Oh Radio - you're making me homesick:( We got off Silhouette as you were getting on board. Keep her safe. We LOVED it. This was the most beautiful ship with a wonderful crew and staff.

I agree about the bands. No real Caribbean music on our cruise either. We did have it at the Sunset Bar at most sailaways but, other than that, the horrible rap was being played at the Martini Bar and very loud. Sadly it was pretty empty there most nights before our select seating at 7.

The food in the MDR was wonderfully improved and, although we were in Aqua, we ate most of our meals in the MDR with our friends. We had 10 with us and they were wonderful about seating us at the same table every night and were so accomodating.

Loved Cafe al Bacio and spent lots of time there. Our cruise director was Lisa but she did tell us she was leaving after our cruise and heading to Eclipse. She was great and very personable.

We had warm temps about day 2 1/2 but we also had smooth sailing down until the 3rd day. It became a little rocky but nothing to upset this ship. She rides beautifully. I can't tell you how many times we actually felt that we were in a hotel rather than on the ocean.

I look forward to more of your wonderful pictures. Enjoy this cruise and ship. They actually "exceeded our expectations" this time around.:D

We are going on our first Celebrity cruise on the Silhouette in Febraury 2013. It is great following this thread and seeing the pictures. Thanks for all of your work to give those of us who have never been on the Silhouette a sneak preview of what to expect.

I see the teardrop 9/11 memorial is right next to the pier:eek: Had no idea it was so close, thought it was more along the shore line up near the bridge. Please try to get a pic when you dock. Would love to see it head on.

Am really enjoying the pics. Sounds like you're in heaven to me:p

Hi all!

pkexton ~ thanks for posting those photos. I had no idea what it was, very nice.

Radio ~ I'm following along again too. No cruise for me for months so love cruising virtually with you. Did they welcome you aboard with a drink & do they show you the actual desserts in the MDR still ? Those were a couple of the things I liked about X.

Have a great cruise & thanks so much for taking us along!:D

~ Jo ~ :)
