Things you would never wear.

OK so we all have our favourite dresses, shoes etc. but is there any item of clothing/foot/headware you wouldn't wear for any reason, maybe body shape, height, boob size bum/stomach, bingo wings and such like.

 

I will start with things that aren't in my closet.

 

Hoodie

Crocs - the big ugly ones

Ugg boots

Leggings

Anything I can't wear a bra with!

I have to agree with ALL that you said!!!

I have long hair and hoodies simply make a rat's nest in the back of my head!

I don't wear "Plastic" shoes.

Uggs are named that for a reason!

Leggings....too much like stockings....ick!

Small chested, so a bra is a must to make things NOT disappear!!!!

According to the Urban Dictionary:

Bingo Wings. Loose musculature and skin on the back of the upper arms, especially apparent in older women raising their arms for some reason, such as to shout "bingo!"

"The bingo wings were flapping. I think I blew the age curve at that party."

There are certainly things that I don't buy and aren't in my closet, but I can and would wear under certain circumstances (like a logo T-shirt or baseball cap that I would wear at a fundraiser or working on a specific project). But things I wouldn't wear, ever, unless under extreme duress:

 

-thigh-high stockings (I will wear stocking with a garter belt, though)

-flip flops, or any sandal configuration with something between my toes

-princess waist dresses

-colours: no orange, yellow, or pale pastels

-cropped pants, whether they're cropped above the ankle or mid calf

-turtlenecks, or even mock-turlenecks

-miniskirt or mini-dress

I do not wear:

 

T shirts

Bikinis

Spike heels or any heels over 3"....wear only wedge heels and nor over 3 " or I don't think they are anyway....could be 3 1/2"

Crocs

Hoodies

Turtlenecks or any confining neckline

Flip flops....don't like anything between my toes

Thong

Boy shorts underware

There are prob more, just can't think of anymore right now

Some great ones here, and a lot of common items. For me it would be:

 

- ugg boots

- midrift tops

- black bra under light coloured tops

- crocs (would rather a 6" teeter-heel than those things)

- backless dress

- short shorts

- tracksuits

- bikini (ah, memories)

- rubber thongs

Standard T-shirts - I don't like the high collar on it or the fit in the chest. I also don't like the straightness of the cut.

Heels - Can't stand anything with more than 1" heel and almost always wear flats

Spaghetti strap tanks - I need a supportive bra and refuse to show off my bra straps to do so

Hoodies

Low Rise jeans - I just don't get them...

Any clothing that doesn't have a tailored fit and looks like a potato sack.

No bikini for me. I may someday consider a tankini!

 

No thong underwear. I get that it eliminates the panty line problem in back, but it's like walking around with a permanent wedgie. NOT comfortable!!

 

No tube tops! I may not be especially large-chested, but at my age and without surgical intervention, wearing a tight-fitting top without a bra is ill-advised. :(

 

No items of clothing or jewelry decorated with feathers, except maybe a hat with a small feather in the band. I have no logical reason for this; I just don't like them.

 

No items of clothing or jewelry featuring cartoon characters. Except my Goofy hat from Disney World--the one with ears. :)

 

Nothing with any kind of sexual connotations printed on it. I'm too classy, even though I WILL wear a Goofy hat.

 

No "pleather" clothing.

 

I'm sure there are more but that's all I can think of now.

Pantyhose

Stiletto heels or high platform heels

Miniskirts (I have the legs, but I prefer jeans)

Cowboy boots with shorts ;)

Tube tops

Bikini in public, except when I'm in Mexico

Ugly walking shoes

Lace underwear (itchy!)

Multiple piercings
