Princess has some kind of a sale or promotion almost every week. The question is if its a sale on a cruise you are interested in.

There is a "Escape Completely Sale" from October 22 - October 29th which supposedly has free balcony upgrades (from ocean view) and half off deposits.

 

Please read fine print if you take advantage of this.

The "sale" price listed in the link provided on two of our upcoming cruises is MORE than what is listed on the Princess site today and MUCH more than we paid through our TA. Gotta love those "sales"!:rolleyes::p

We received an ad in the mail today for next week's sale. The ad is really only good for certain sailings. Didn't work for us this time.:(

I rarely promote their sales because you really have to know your prices before you take advantage of their sales. They are rarely a good deal IMO. The regular prices in between the sales seem to be better more often than not.

Our cruise is on "sale" but I won't take advantage since the price is nearly $200 more than we paid when we booked direct through Princess months ago.

Hoping for another real price drop before Final Payment!

From what I can see our 20 days on the Emerald in January is not on the sale list (yet) however the current rack rate is a full $2000 higher for the two of us compared to what we are booked at.

I just checked and the price for my cruise just went down for the second time! Saving another 40 bucks each is still worth it. :D My category is sold out though, and the cheaper cabins are actually a category higher than what I have. Think that they'll change my cabin?

Well that was awesome. Not only did I save $40, but I got upgraded to a BE cabin instead of my BF, and am now located on Caribe deck in cabin C232 on the island princess. I'll take that over an Aloha cabin! Do you think this still has a larger balcony though? The plans make it seem like it's just as big as the baja and aloha cabins above it.

How are those prices quoted? Is this like on the Princess site itself that includes all taxes and fees or is this straight base fares only?

the cheapest category of each cabin

type.
