Loonbeam Posted October 20, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 20, 2012 Princess has some kind of a sale or promotion almost every week. The question is if its a sale on a cruise you are interested in. Carnival is having a sale next week for National Cruise Week. I wonder if Princess will follow.

Rare Coral Posted October 20, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 20, 2012 There is a "Escape Completely Sale" from October 22 - October 29th which supposedly has free balcony upgrades (from ocean view) and half off deposits. Please read fine print if you take advantage of this.
MCC retired Posted October 20, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 20, 2012 Here is a link to the fare chart for the Princess Sale that ends 10/29. As stated , Princess seems to have some sort of sale very frequently. Check for restrictions , and TA offers , before booking . https://book.princess.com/pdf/onesource/pc/PC_EscapeCompletelySaleFareChart.pdf

whatcruiseisnext Posted October 20, 2012 #9 Share Posted October 20, 2012 The "sale" price listed in the link provided on two of our upcoming cruises is MORE than what is listed on the Princess site today and MUCH more than we paid through our TA. Gotta love those "sales"!:p
Mom33 Posted October 20, 2012 #10 Share Posted October 20, 2012 We received an ad in the mail today for next week's sale. The ad is really only good for certain sailings. Didn't work for us this time.:(
DrivesLikeMario Posted October 20, 2012 #11 Share Posted October 20, 2012 I rarely promote their sales because you really have to know your prices before you take advantage of their sales. They are rarely a good deal IMO. The regular prices in between the sales seem to be better more often than not.

MustangGT Posted October 20, 2012 #13 Share Posted October 20, 2012 Our cruise is on "sale" but I won't take advantage since the price is nearly $200 more than we paid when we booked direct through Princess months ago. Hoping for another real price drop before Final Payment!
Putterdude Posted October 21, 2012 #14 Share Posted October 21, 2012 From what I can see our 20 days on the Emerald in January is not on the sale list (yet) however the current rack rate is a full $2000 higher for the two of us compared to what we are booked at. cutetrill Posted October 21, 2012 #16 Share Posted October 21, 2012 I just checked and the price for my cruise just went down for the second time! Saving another 40 bucks each is still worth it. :D My category is sold out though, and the cheaper cabins are actually a category higher than what I have. Think that they'll change my cabin? cutetrill Posted October 21, 2012 #17 Share Posted October 21, 2012 Well that was awesome. Not only did I save $40, but I got upgraded to a BE cabin instead of my BF, and am now located on Caribe deck in cabin C232 on the island princess. I'll take that over an Aloha cabin! Do you think this still has a larger balcony though? The plans make it seem like it's just as big as the baja and aloha cabins above it.
