Prunes in the Windjammer - or anywhere?

I can't for the life of me remember if there were prunes available in the Windjammer on our last cruise and am hoping someone will know. We sail with our little boy in May and he needs to have prunes added to his diet daily to help with a medical issue and I'm wondering if they are customarily available or if I need to contact guest services or take some with us.

I have always seen prunes in the windjammer on the table with all the fesh and canned fruit. They should also be available in the dining room for breakfast.

Just came off explorer and yes there is prunes in windjammer every morning!!! :)

The Bistro Cafe on Allure definitely had Prunes. They were great, too.

Prune juice is also available in the MDR at breakfast.

We also found prunes each morning in the Windjammer. They had the pits in them though - I wasn't aware of this and bit into one and it surprised me so - be careful and remove the pit before giving them to the little one :)

The prunes available in the WJ are stewed and are very slightly spiced. Very tasty...and yes, watch out for those seeds!!

Yes prunes are great, I wont go into detail but they are so tasty , and yes they are in the wind jammer :D

They are available from room service too. I see them in the hallways once in a while. I guess they didn't want them after all. :p

Too the person who thought it was "cute" you DO knowvthat prunes are just dried plums?! right?? just like a raisin is a dried grape. They just get sweeter .

Yes to the prunes and you must also please try the MUESLI! It is increidble. Some mornings are better than others depending on the fruit they put in, but that was my morning ritual... 4 prunes, little muesli, and 1 small danish. Yum!! :D:D

I think it's more likely a law of the plumbing and those toilets with the itty bitty opening at the bottom of the bowl.....;)

Wow, so many replies - thank you all so much!!!

 

Our baby needs prunes daily to keep things on track, otherwise we have to medicate which I try to avoid as much as possible so its great to hear they are readily available ... I have no idea why but I just couldn't be sure even though I love prunes myself with a little natural yogurt :)

 

When we sailed NCL a few years back we also needed prune juick for our other son but had to special request it hence I wanted to be certain for May.
