Time to head off for dinner and maybe one last shot at the casino. We are having a farewell drink get together at the Viking Crown after 9 pm. Thanks for tuning in everyone! :)

I enjoy having farewell drinks at the Viking Crown Lounge on all of the RCCL ships, Allure is my favorite, also my favorite bartender works there, RinRin!!! She is a delight, unfortunately when I go in March she will be on her leave.

Thanks so much for the wonderful review, hope you have safe travels back home.

Thanks for sharing your review. I've also been following MrFunInTheSun's review, too. It has helped ease by post cruise blues that I developed after my Oasis cruise ended a week ago. I absolutely loved Oasis! I was very impressed with ship's layout and that she was never overly crowded, even on the pool deck. I can't wait to sail her again next year.

Hello friends and thanks for all the great comments. I am at the airport waiting for my flight(departs at 3:05 pm). I continued to be amazed by the Oasis class. I never felt crowded on the ship and what it offers is just mind boggling. I actually like Allure just a bit more than I do Oasis and will explain why. Overall I give this cruise and the ship a solid A. I will sail on her again

The many, many pros of Allure:

The number of food and bar offerings. There's something for everyone.

I felt the quality of food on this sailing was almost on par with what I experienced on Celebrity Silhouette which speaks volumes considering the ship had double the passengers.

I never felt crowded on Allure. The ship is so well laid out(just like Oasis) that any crowds are easily dispersed.

The MDR staff actually turned away people who were dressed inappropriately for formal night(one of the very few but biggest complaints I had about on Oasis).

The bar staff on Allure were great. Always in a great mood and knew me by name on just the second day. The bartenders at the On Air Club were the best IMHO

The staff in general just seemed a touch better than on Oasis. Everyone seemed to really enjoy what they were doing and went that extra mile to make sure passenger were enjoying themselves.

Captain Johnny was great... very sociable and always smiling

Agree about Allure over Oasis but going back on Oasis! :). You can't go wrong on either of the them.

How was the he entertainment at night in Central Park? I love listening to the music at night.

Thanks for taking us along this week. Can't wait for your follow up. I will miss reading the thread and having coffee in the AM. :)

We went to Izumi twice, first night and last night. Darrell loved all of it but loved loved loved the octopus. I enjoyed it too and especially loved the Green Tea Mousse for dessert. Arnie was our waiter, great guy. The Sakerita was great, the mango sake drink was good too.

I sailed on the Allure last May and found the bar staff a bit distant. One night I went to the boardwalk Bar the only customer and the bartender ignored me. When I finally got his attention he was annoyed that I wanted to spend money at his bar. I only wish I could of deleted his automatic gratuity.

We arrived at Mr. Sancho's just before 9:30. The swim up bar:

I may have to try Mr. Sancho's next time because of those bar swings. One of my favorite things in St. Thomas was a bar near the ship (a different cruise line) where they had swings instead of bar stools. I loved that!

Well I can only go by what I experienced on this sailing and I liked the staff a lot.
