Ethel5 Posted January 18, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 18, 2014 On smart casual nights can my other half wear smart, below the knee shorts with polo top in the dining restaurant? OK on the polo and no to the shorts no matter how long they are.

windsor26 Posted January 19, 2014 #13 Share Posted January 19, 2014 I would have thought the word shorts describes what are against the Dinner wear rules
MJSailors Posted January 19, 2014 #14 Share Posted January 19, 2014 Why do people constantly try to push the rules???!!! If men need to wear shorts at dinner ,they can dine at the Horizion Court. Besides, what is the difference for men to put on a pair of shorts or a pair of slacks? Both garments include a button and a zipper. Pants are longer shirts-consider that. MauiLvrs Posted January 19, 2014 #25 Share Posted January 19, 2014 Capris are not the same as shorts. So he could wear capris if he can't wear long pants.
