We want to do Atlantis... So missing Nassau would be a bummer for my dd. Havana would be pretty cool tho.

That would be fantastic! My mother passed away when I was a child , but, one of the most memorable vacations her and my dad ever took was to Cuba (three years before the ban was put in place). Mom made a scrapbook of that trip and just WOW. Havana was a happening place. The crowds at the hotels and pools were crazy. And the parties? Holy cow. I'm sure the pictures do not truly do them justice. It has been a dream of mine to be able to go back to that place and walk where she walked. I have so little memories of her and you kind of take it where you can get it. The DH and I will be one of the first takers when the travel restrictions are finally lifted.

We will be sailing NCL for the first time ever. I don't what I'm looking forward to most...the freestyle dining, the new ship or the long-shot possibility to going to Havana. We are not big fans of Nassau.

My SIL is Cuban, visiting there(family)before we leave on Sept 5 for Getaway. We've always told him we want to go along. Would love for it to happen on the Escape. Feb6

About ports of call, regarding Hamburg (Germany) I assume the new Steinwerder cruise terminal at the Kaiser-Wilhelm Hafen will be used for Escape?

Yup, the Roll Call boards, were people on the same cruise gather and set up events/excursions etc. No problem at all, it feels like a parallel board sometimes, although it's a bit hidden in the regular boards.

Most of the ports discussed by FDR are on the southern side of the island. It seems those would work better with a western Caribbean itinerary, and he even mentions including Mexico ports with an itinerary. I'm not sure they'd be a good replacement for Nassau on eastern Caribbean cruises due to the distance. Havana would maybe be an exception. Who knows. Obviously all speculation. I'd love to go, though.
