Suite Upgrade

Recommended Posts

Do you think it is worth the cost to a suite upgrade on Navigator of the Seas.

What is the total cost to upgrade, what month are you cruising, what are the stateroom categories (current and potential) involved?

The amount of the up grade is about $300.00. We will be traveling in November.

I don't know what the difference is between a balcony and a suite.

What is the exact category you have, and what are you considering moving to?

If it is $300 total to upgrade and if that is for a Grand Suite, not a Jr. Suite, I would take it in a flash. Apparently you are currently booked in a balcony cabin. The Grand suite is about double the size, has a large bathroom with tub and shower, a large balcony and comes with a number of perks which can be seen on the RCI web site. Among those perks is a free cocktail "hour" in the Concierge Lounge.

Take it. $300 for a balcony to a JS is even worth it. Our bathroom at home is as big or bigger than a balcony cabin. The suite perks don't interest us that much and the JS is a very nice size. The GS from JS is worth it if you think the non cabin perks are worth it. The free drinks, snacks and elite lounges wouldn't get that much use from us. Our routine ;) doesn't leave much time before the 8 or 8:30 dinner seating. Sky rockets in flight...

$300 total to go to any suite, including a JS, is worth it for us

Thats about $20pp a day

If it is for a GTY, you might get a one of the better suites

Ive been wanting to do the same thing, for our upcoming Nav cruise.

Right now its about twice the price, that we paid for the cruise, for us to upgrade

BTW the cocktail hours on the Nav are 430p -8pm
