Sounds as if he's a bad apple with no sense of humor. Needs to be boiled in sugar to make the Appleseed sweet.

Well if it a case of sour grapes , it would be more of a "Whine Policy" :)

 

But I will be on board with my case of Boone's Farm Apple Wine . They don't have corks, so I am wondering if I will be charged a "Screwage fee" in the MDR *LOL*

I have enjoyed reading this thread - laughed at so many posts, kept reaching for the "like" button.

 

This has given so many of us a reason to remember that Cruise Critic is truly a community.

I only started the thread - it was YOU that did the brilliant post that got us all going. So nice to see people coming together as a community.

 

oops this is supposed to be funny - I forgot -

 

so - kindly remember that everyone is entitled to an opinion - including Johnny Appleseed.

 

Just breathe and have a piece of pie and all will be good :)

I've heard HAL is replacing the Veendam's aft retreat with a wading pool of caramel. Is that true?

 

I'm wondering if HAL has really thought this through. How do we get the caramel to the apple pie??? Must we bring our own containers? Do we get these at the Lido? Is the amount of caramel we get based on cabin category? Do cruisers in suites have to go get their own caramel?:confused::p:

 

I'm hoping this is going to be a "fountain" and not a WADING POOL !!!:eek:

the pool will be all set up, with the containers, plates, forks and spoons.

 

If you want to use the caramel pool, you have to go there - suite or not:eek::p:p

So now we have a choice of pie or cake? Why does everything have to be so complicated? Apple pie I can understand, but cake??? Cake can be so dangerous! Who is going to be assigned to tell us whether there are eggs, nuts or raisins in the cake? I happen to be allergic to all three, plus I need to be sure it is gluten-free. Will they have gluten-free for us? Why can't we just stick to applesauce like Ruth (it WAS Ruth wasn't it?) suggested?

who would have thought desserts could get so complicated? :eek:

 

(see what happens when I have too much time on my hands after finishing the HAL group/charter/dry dock update!)

Just wondering...If I remove the hotel service charge from my bill, what happens to my pie? Will I have to return it? If that's my intention, should I just refuse the pie in the first place?

 

Thanks everyone for a really good laugh. I just got to this thread tonight.
