Sydney Ports Aug-Dec 2017

Recommended Posts

I have just check Sydney Ports and noticed an unusual entry. There is 10 dates where it is showing as the ship name is Carnival Corp.

The dates are 20 August, 5,19,27 September, 5 October, 3,8,12,28 November and 16 December. All are at the OPT.

Does anyone have any idea what this entry maybe, or do we have to wait.

they must have booked the berth and the ship to be confirmed later on

If they want to berth at the OPT they have to get in ahead of RCCL....hence the booking and then they can name which ship will use it. They also have to pay a non refondable deposit at the time of booking , so bookings are not done lightly.

It does go to show how far ahead they have to plan. ...just think , for those bookings in 2017 they are probably also placing orders for thousands upon thousands of prime steak cuts to be ready for the cruises.:):)

Maybe its a booking for the Revenue Princess (it hasn't got a name yet) so they have to put Carnival Corp. Going to start in Europe then spend some time in Asia and head down under for our Summer. No point having three Royal class ships in the USA. Send us a brand new one. :D

That would be great and also a first. A new ship would be awesome and would certainly get some patronage.:D

That would be cool:cool:, a bit concerned about what ports she could access. But we'd look long and hard at the itineraries.

Next to Carnival Corp, on the right hand side, it specifies Carnival Cruise Line, so it's more than likely gonna be the third Carnival ship (16Feb17, 12Apr17, 26Apr17, then 10Jul17). Perhaps they haven't been able to secure all the spots they want, because some dates are quite far apart.
