Eriksgarden Posted June 4, 2015 #51 Share Posted June 4, 2015 We've seen Dolphins playing in the water, Sea Turtles, waves, flying fish, every shade of blue imaginable, sunrises, sunsets, islands, ships, birds, clouds, sun...Yeah, we love balconies! JulieRose Posted June 4, 2015 #52 Share Posted June 4, 2015 Naked people! Seriously! We had an aft balcony on Brilliance in Jan. 2015 and we were docked in Cozumel next to the Liberty. We were having a glass of wine, watching people coming back to the ship when we noticed a guy on the Liberty just walk out onto his balcony completely naked to talk to his wife. He looked over our way, then jumped back into the cabin and pulled the curtain around himself. :DA few minutes later there was another couple who never closed their curtains as they dressed for dinner. With cabin lights on, we could see right into their cabin! The man was doing all kinds of body building poses in front of the mirror!! We were not trying to be "creepy peepers" but it was all out there! Remember to pull those curtains when in port!! LOL, you see those in Promenade staterooms too! On 70's night, we were woken up by the loud music. Apparently we weren't the only ones. We raced to our window and (unfortunately) so did the naked cruisers in the cabin across the promenade from us. They didn't think to turn their lights off or grab a towel before opening their curtains...
Kermit426 Posted June 4, 2015 Author #53 Share Posted June 4, 2015 Wow, loving these responses. :D Definitely going to pack binoculars. Hoping to see things like ships, wildlife, and pier runners. You know I won't be able to walk through the promenade on 70's night now without looking up, yikes! ;)
majarosh Posted June 4, 2015 #54 Share Posted June 4, 2015 Not sure if you want this....but here it goes...in March...still tied at the dock " Miami Underwater Repair " was parked on the dock...the divers had to replace an internal / external valve...scuba suits...guys would take turns diving...come up take off their wet suits...and I swear on a stack of bibles...start doing pushups...we had our own Chippendale Show....they were directly above us. This went on for HOURS !!! WE were, originally scheduled to leave at 4...1145 PM we leave. This was the same sailing that a person jumped overboard. SO...from our cabin watching the Canadian and the US ships search for the gentleman. Unfortunately he was not found. So...WE had an interesting cruise on Liberty

awhfy Posted June 5, 2015 #57 Share Posted June 5, 2015 (edited) Watching the motorcycles unload & load at each port was fun (15 bikes, 3 trikes). Only cost them an additional $700 to bring, probably worth it Edited June 5, 2015 by awhfy

helen haywood Posted June 5, 2015 #61 Share Posted June 5, 2015 During sail away from Pt. Canaveral we saw a wedding on the beach. During sail away from Seattle I stopped counting after spotting over 100 sailboats. Pilot boat retrieving pilot. Watching the Captain flip the ship around and back into the dock perfectly. Ships have no brakes!! It is amazing how perfect the docking manoeuvres are!
