Any idea when we can expect to see pictures of the interior of the ship? Tired of the virtual tour :D

Soooo agree with this, need real photos, surly someone on-board doing the fit out can share some spy pics? ;)

The latest three pics of the Meraviglia casino (mscfans.it) are terrible, they show very little, come on MSC..... YC photos! :)

Yes ................... and the prices have increased accordingly

I used to buy an Allegrissimo package when in YC and at least got extra points for onboard spend - now I'll still have to pay the extra without benefit of points!

On the plus side, I booked my Meraviglia YC cruise when the 20% club discount applied and had a €10 voucher which translates into €400 OBC which I won't have to use to pay for a drinks package on this sailing

Sorry, new to MSC. What is the deal with 400 OBC after only paying 10? Is this offer only available to Europeans passengers.

There was a time when you could purchase a voucher onboard for €10 and it would convert into OBC on a future cruise if you booked on an 'Early Booking' rate - it's conversion value depended on the type of cabin booked. IIRC it was €50 for an inside, €100 for a balcony and a whopping €400 OBC for a Yacht Club booking. However, MSC discontinued selling these vouchers in April last year :(

Sailing 8th September, hope to see lots of reviews and pictures before[emoji3][emoji3]

I think it will be the most photographed ship from day 1. Bra Be and Norwegian C I'm looking at you [emoji102]

Even I will be reading everything that is posted on the net before our cruise and we are one the 3rd cruise. Can't wait [emoji4]

It's disappointing that it won't be showing 'til 17 July - apparently the reason is that they need the time to rehearse in the venue while at sea. It'll be interesting to see if there will be an alternative show - how would the performers rehearse for that one if the Cirque de Soleil team are also rehearsing at the same time with much more complex props

It seems it's starting from the 18th June the day before we embark! Yay [emoji4]

Not sure how to pre book for the show? Don't want a dinner booking with show as we will be in YC and prefer to go to dinner before or after the show depending on start times?

At least we will be able to see it as originally we where told it wouldn't be ready till July.

I'm on Fantasia and have been told that it's to be on from the very first day by a crew manager who is embarking on 7 May to prepare for the inaugural. I plan on prebooking when I get home tomorrow and see how it goes from there. I won't be disappointed if it's not up and running - I expect there'll be plenty to see and do anyway.

My TA told me that show A is performed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday while show B is performed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So no show on Thursday, the sea day. I wonder how different the two shows will be and if it is worth it to go to both.

I've just pre-booked the CIRQUE DU SOLEIL AT SEA - DINNER WITH SPECTACLE for €35 pp for our June sailing.

Hey Beamafar,

Looks like they will confirm what day you can go when you check in upon embarkation?

I was looking at the cocktail package option for Cirque and it says drink only....obviously, but still have to book your show day when we check in?

Also....

We are in YC so ordering a drink at the show should be complimentary so no need to pre pay I would have thought? Interesting.

Hi. I just heard the ship has solo cabins. I looked at the pictures and schematics and cannot readily discern a solo cabin like the NCL studios. Can anyone enlighten me? Will they actually recognize my NCL loyalty status?

In advance, many thanks

Gerri

The cabins, well I would say until the first cruise reports come out we don't really know how big anything is. The design of rooms might have changes either way as the build started.

Yes they will recognise your NCL status and match it to one of theirs.

Just pre-booked the "cocktail and spectacle" via the german msc-website. There was no option to choose a date or time, so I assume this will be done at boarding or on board.

To my understanding, you have to book (pre-cruise or on board) either the "dinner and spectacle" or the "cocktail and spectacle" option as an entrance fee to the show.

I would hope that we will be covered for drinks at the show. At least being in YC we'll have a concierge to deal with any bookings and/or issues we may have ;)

I see you Aussies will pay slightly more in AUD than if you pay in Euros for the dinner & show package - $54 is about €38.75 according to today's exchange rate. I'm paying €35 for it.

Do you have to prepay? Because we cannot book cruises on the Ireland website, there is no facility to prepay - only prebook - 'cos it's not set up to take payments. That suits me fine - I can never understand anyone prepaying anything they don't have to. I imagine it's a nightmare getting refunds if for some reason you have to cancel plans at the last minute. Also, why give your money to a company before you have to?! Plus, we have €400 OBC thanks to having one of €10 vouchers which, sad to say, exist no longer :( so that'll cover the cost of the show - and then some ;p

I'm not so sure that this ship has solo cabins. IOTC but I believe that MSC intends that the future build ships will.

Regarding your NCL level - you need to do a status match with MSC. There are numerous threads and posts on here which explain how it's done.

Yeah we have to pre pay. But I've only pre paid the laundry package and the service charge. We booked our cruise all through the web site, so easy, I don't know why some people find it hard to, we did it all online not speaking to anyone from MSC.

OBC! Don't get me started on that. We get screwed every way on that. Other countries get it thrown in left right and centre. [emoji849]

At least our booking was cheap when we booked 18 months ago. YC is the only way to sail now after our Divina YC sailing.

Last time I looked the only cabins available were $6k for two people! And not in YC!
