Offers received from Club Royale (Royal Caribbean)

Since posting yesterday, I seem to have had two more offers added, one of which has a $1,250 trade-in value (perhaps a comped junior suite?) and the other has $0.

 

For others who have not seen some of these offers, here's what I've got listed:

Just got off the phone with Club Royale. I have 7 offers, several with a trade in value, some not. I tried to apply the "trade in value" to one of my upcoming cruises. I was told it is an error and there is no trade in value. What? Any one have any success using the offer(s) as a trade in value?

The 2018 Holiday event will be on the Navigator on Dec 16th for 5 nights out of Miami stopping at Nassau and Labadee. (I clicked on Redeem and picked the ship and sail date from the drop down boxes that I wanted. When I received my confirmation email from RC today, it was the above mentioned cruise only.) Information should be sent out sometime this week. I talked to a CR rep and she told me the events listed on that web site are offers already out or coming out. In order to redeem a new listing, you should wait until you receive your mailing or email and then it would be a good idea to call them instead of doing it online to make sure everything is applied correctly.

Hi, we live in Nova Scotia and we are wondering how you managed to get an email offer. We have been told that we can't receive offers, unless we have a US address on file.

I'm thinking the trade in value would be if you wanted to upgrade your cabin on the same cruise the offer was for. That's what happened to me for a couple of my offers for an inside, when I wanted to upgrade to a balcony.

I see that each one is listed with a "Trade In Value". The values seem to correspond to the trade-in values one gets from the certificates received onboard ($500 for an inside cabin, $750 for an oceanview cabin, and $1,000 for a balcony cabin). Since these offers list trade-in values, does that mean one can use these offers to book completely different cruises?

 

I used one of the "trade in values" as a discount on a cruise that was not included in the offer. This was for a new booking, not applied to a cruise that was already booked. Worked the same as the trade in value of a ship issued certificate.

George, was it a trade-in value from one of the event offers or the "Monthly Casino Offer"?

Monthly if I remember correctly. I had a couple offers available at the time and I think the CR rep booked using the one expiring soonest at least that is how I remember discussing it.

I just got the email this afternoon.

 

 



 

I received email -not snail mail - for the signature Oasis Oct. 21 cruise today. Already booked on Allure one week later - casino event - from FLL. Had not yet booked airfare for the FLL cruise so I need to make a decision... thinking about trying to go from Port Canaveral to FLL... Oasis comes into Port Canaveral same day Allure goes out from FLL.

I was just speaking to Casino Royale again. They said that folks can use this link to see if they have any offers. I do not have any at the moment. Can someone try it that knows they have an offer to see if it works? Might be a useful tool for us non-US residents.
