Allure Star Class - first and maybe continuing impressions 5/29

Yes, but it is a sheer for over the loft. There are thick curtains and sheers for all outter facing windows.

Thank you. I am a morning person and I will be wondering around before my husband gets up.

We are just off the Oasis in 1720. Someone asked about beer being in the mini fridge. On our initial survey we were asked what kind of Coke beverages we would like and also asked if we would like a red or white or sparking wine. I indicated that I like Pino Noir but that my husband likes Blue Moon. The fridge was stocked with 6 on the second day and they brought 6 every day after. We were not drinking them all and asked both Israel and our stateroom attendant to ask have it stopped. They kept showing up! I think we had 26 on the counter by the end of the cruise. Ask and you may get it.

Thank you. That is good to know for when I get my survey. Will have to ask for sliced orange also.

Ok. So for questions.

I have not located an onboard drink package price list as yet.

Marva will be on vacation in August. Back in September. :(

And it was the oversized dice throw at ice games. My friend Ron would have crawled under the seat if I didn't make him get up. :)

Labadee today. Cabana B-2. Always a great way to spend the day. We did wave runners too. While we were at wave runners in the morning the cabana concierge made sure our 4 guests were checked in and taken care of.

Suite/pinnacle helipad sail away from Labadee is a really nice touch. Champagne and the usual rum punch.

Coffee maker uses discs.

L'Occitane products only. Can't speak to anything else.

Francesco gave us our first Genie "no" today. I had booked Izumi tepanayaki for 9pm tonight and Ron wanted to eat earlier. But It's fully booked. So dinner remains at 9. I kind of expected that since the Benihana experience is limited. He felt bad but I'm the one who picked 9pm to begin with so I'm fine.

Won $363 in the casino today and went straight to guest services and paid for the cabana :)

I never understood the affinity for certain housekeeping staff until Marva was our cabin steward(ess) what a warm, wonderful and happy soul she is. We were in 1728 and we still talk about her.

Matt, nice new coffee machines. And cabana B2, I guess I provided two much info in our cruise review:p The umbrella is new since March, but having rested in those loungers I can attest that extra shade will come in hand late in the day. If you see Marva in passing tell her we will miss her in August, but we are even happier that she will be at home.

Best part of the day was your casino win!!! I hope you take some more off their table.:)

It appears Francesco will be handling ATS 8730 for June 12th Cruise. Just got my email today, but please tell him unless they are changing our itinerary we don't go to Labadee on our cruise. :-)

Andrew - Marva said she will miss seeing Owen but she's definitely looking forward to 2 months with her kids.

Thanks for the casino wishes. I was just happy I actually cashed it out. :)

Tonight was Izumir tepanayaki. Which I'm probably spelling incorrectly.

Our chef Orlando was highly entertaining and the food was delicious. What they don't tell you is if you order through cruise planner there's a $5 up charge option once onboard to get two different meats or lobster or shrimp. You can do any combo 2 of lobster, shrimp, filet, chicken, steak.

The only odd time for us was when the entire cast of Mamma Mia came in and took the two grills beside us. Just imagine 18 people who love being on stage in a Benihana type participation experience. It got a bit loud. But at least their voices were great. :)

Tonight is also the first Solarium party. Malibu rum is the theme.

Is Izumi not included as part of the Star class perks?
