Wouldnt it be Awesome

Recommended Posts

The problem with theme nights is that only a small percentage of passengers bother following the theme, so it loses its impact.

Princess does have the occasional theme night - western, island - but these typically are confined to evening poolside parties, not the MDR.

It's hard enough to encourage people to dress up on formal nights. I think it would be impossible to get them to dress to a theme unless Princess offered some very serious costume prizes, and I can't see that happening.

It's a shame in a way as I enjoy fancy dress parties.

That's more to do with the menu theme, not a passenger dress theme.

Even then it can be a bit bizarre, we had the mdr setup for Italian but it was a predominantly French menu that night [emoji15]

If Princess had a theme night.Say like a Zombie/Goth night instead of the usual fare.:):)

For once I disagree with you.

Maybe they could do it in one lounge or something and leave the rest as normal.

Have been on 2 cruises on RCI with zombie/goth themes for Halloween.

They decorated the atrium, had a huge spider cake and a costume parade.

We decorated our dining table and put a Boo decoration on our door as well as wearing the usual witch's hat/boa etc - nothing too extravagant although some had great costumes.

On one occasion the flash mob dance troup did a thriller routine.

They were great fun nights. Something different.

Sounds like fun but I would think that it is an American ship theme night for Haloween.

Would never stop talking to you.

Just not a fan of fancy dress.

Give a good old suit and tie, or even dinner suit any day.

Really can't picture that on the typical Princess cruise.

Agreed it's more in line with P&O, Carnival, maybe NCL, RCL.

Totally agree, please not on Princess, if you want to dress up like a Zombie/Goth or other weird creature go on P&O Australia or Carnival, or Sydney Harbour Ferries.

We Princess people are traditional cruisers, mostly.

Escape Completely and Come Back New, that's us.
