Oasis - Lobster in Windjammer?

There is a rumor that they serve Lobster in the Windjammer on the first formal night of the cruise on the Oasis.

 

Is anyone able to confirm?

It has been confirmed by several people on various threads however things can and of vary from cruise to cruise.

Thank you - that is the night we have the ice show at 7 and were going to go to the Windjammer anyway - husband loves lobster. (I'm allergic). so they have lobster on the first formal night too?

On thirty plus cruises since May 1983 I have never seen lobster served on any buffet on any cruiseline. Personally, I have cruised on Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Holland America, and Norwegian.

Skipping formal night doesn't make you defiant. A lot of people do it...

 

FWIW, my wife and I have skipped the dining room each of our last 8 cruises ... the WJ primarily or, on rare occasion, a specialty restaurant, is fine by us.

 

I can also confirm that a kind word and a few quid to one of the wait staff in WJ can accomplish almost anything, including a specialty item from the MDR.

Just got of Rhapsody, no Lobster at the WJ any night

I was Oasis in April and they had lobster in the Windjammer on formal night but it was not lobster tails. They had a station where they were cooking pasta and lobster was one of the meats you could have added.

It is not a rumor. I will confirm that there was lobster in the Windjammer on our last cruise on Oasis. However, it was really over cooked and bad. It didn't matter how much butter you poured on the critter. Though you could have as many as you wanted, one was more than enough.

We did not have Windjammer Lobster when we were on Allure.
