Ashland Posted April 26, 2017 #3426 Share Posted April 26, 2017 So now there's only Voyager sailing from Singapore, not even year round... That's disappointing... Sent from my iPhone using Forums I'm disappointed too...I was hoping for a Singapore-Shanghai again but on a Quantum class this time...now not even sure it's going to be available on the Voyager. Also not excited about Japan itineraries from Shanghai either.
geoff2802 Posted April 26, 2017 #3427 Share Posted April 26, 2017 Confirmed by Royal on Facebook here in Oz this morning. Explorer and Ovarion for Sydney and Radiance between Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland with a number of Open-Jaw sailings. Confirms Voyager is in Asia year around. Sales from May 16 https://secure.royalcaribbean.com.au/media/pdf/reports/RCI_201819_ProgrammeRelease_FA_Final.pdf Good detail in that release - thanks. Radiance has 1 departure from Melbourne and 3 from Auckland. Royal is testing some new ideas which is good to see for a change. She has 15 departures from Sydney, so it's not a redeployment. Guest012 Posted April 26, 2017 #3429 Share Posted April 26, 2017 Good to hear Mariner is coming home. We did the Barcelona - Dubai sector when she repositioned to Asia, out of all the Voyager sisters we like her the best, even with the builders onboard readying her for Asia :'):') looking forward to a sector or 2 or maybe even booking all 3. Thanks everyone for all the information you guys are great :*:):)
MsDolly Posted April 26, 2017 #3430 Share Posted April 26, 2017 http://cruising.news/royal-caribbeans-2018-19-deployments-for-china-singapore-australia/ Global Odyssey might be interested, didn't see a timeline for that repositioning with it's release coming ahead of the TP on the Explorer releasing I might have a hard choice ahead of me next month. crzndeb Posted April 26, 2017 #3432 Share Posted April 26, 2017 Any word on Apr '19 Transpacific for Explorer? Since it's the 27th in Australia, it is listed for Apr 23, 2019 in the link from J Busworth above. The US should have it available tomorrow as was posted a while back. Not sure if available at Crown and Anchor.

lighthousemom Posted April 27, 2017 #3440 Share Posted April 27, 2017 Well there's always Ovation's repositioning from Singapore to Tianjin. Did I miss something? When is that?
soak01 Posted April 27, 2017 #3441 Share Posted April 27, 2017 First it was the well loved Rhapsody, then the not so loved Legend and now Voyager. Certainly seems like a cutback in Australian capacity even with Ovation picking up some of the slack. The Sydney cruise schedule still has Voyager listed for 2018/19 so is there any chance RCCL are keeping an announcement about a Voyager replacement under wraps. Here's hoping anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Forums That's true...but I always love to end up in Shanghai...not a fan of Beijing...but there's always other options to get there..train or plane just hate the hassle. internetwhiz Posted April 27, 2017 #3446 Share Posted April 27, 2017 Same old Australian itineraries LOL it's not unique to Australia. The only cruise I can drive (9 hours) to get put out the sane ole, same ole through 2019. I realize we have other choices here, but add 800 to the trip to get there. Cruisertoday Posted April 27, 2017 #3447 Share Posted April 27, 2017 What makes you think that? The Mariner would replace the Enchantment upon arrival to Miami on the 3/4 night cruises, which would in turn move to PC in order to take over the previously scheduled sailings for the Majesty. OfTheSeasCruiser Posted April 27, 2017 #3448 Share Posted April 27, 2017 So what are everyone's best guesses regarding Mariner's itineraries from Miami?

The Sydney cruise schedule still has Voyager listed for 2018/19 so is there any chance RCCL are keeping an announcement about a Voyager replacement under wraps. Here's hoping anyway. Most of the dates in the Sydney Ports calendar don't line up with the schedule planned with RC. Cruise lines have to book so far in advance here in Sydney due to the lack of avaliblity of OPT and have been known to use placeholders in the past. For example Sydney Ports has Expolrer in port on Dec 11 2018, whilst Radiance is actually going to be in port, in addition they claim the first Ovation sailing is on Dec 12 2018 when it's actually on 2 Nov 2018. So I don't think Voyagers calls are placeholders for anything that hasn't already been announced
