Harmony Transatlantic LIVE-With a Twist! 10/23/16-11/5/16

Recommended Posts

Thank you all so much for this incredible thread! Makes counting down the days easier... and harder in some ways. hah!

We are staying in GS in less than 30 days... we are very excited for our first suite.

Does anyone know if the suite guests receive free movies on demand? What about laundry/pressing discounts?

You are fortunate. This is what I've been getting since boarding......

Calendar on tv said I had Wonderland at 6:00 and Fine Line at 6:45. I would not have scheduled them that close. But then there was no Fine Line at 6:45 anyway.

Way finder said gangways today were on deck 3. They were on deck 2.

Still a few bugs in the system.

But all is going really well in spite of small glitches.

Cabin is really nice and it is a D8.

Fine Line 11:00 show starting now.

Hi Gordon. Thank you all for doing this live thread! I've got a D8 (6584) booked for next March. Can you possibly take pictures of it (not mine, yours) for me? Would love to see how small  the balcony is.

TIA! And enjoy your cruise!

If God wanted us to see sunrise, He would have scheduled it later in the day.

I just take a picture of sunset over the ocean and tell people it was sunrise......

Naaahhh.....

There are plenty of us non-slackers on the upper deck of cruises for sunrises taking pictures. ;):D

Thank you fro the reply...since my upcoming sailing will allow access to the DL and the Concierge lounge (as this is a nice place to hang-out while waiting for the rooms to open up) without a card how would one gain access to those two areas...and the Suite Sun Deck?

Thank you in advance for your reply :-)

There is no Concierge Lounge on Harmony, just a Suite Lounge for Pinnacles and GS guests and higher

My camera always fogs up in the morning. Any suggestions?

Wrap it in a towel and store it either in a drawer or the wardrobe cabinet. This way the lens will not be too cold so when you go out into the moist sea air it won't fog up. That has worked for me.

John, actually there are two. As you know heavy lens on DSLR's get really cold in the cabins so they fog quickly when you take them out in humidity. You have to go up much earlier and let lens and camera warm up slowly or a second solution is they actually make little warmers to go in camera bag when closed to keep it from getting so cold overnight.
