Harmony Transatlantic LIVE-With a Twist! 10/23/16-11/5/16

Recommended Posts

I have discovered that when you take a picture directly from Tapatalk it posts too big for many laptops. But if you take the picture first and then post adding the picture from Gallery it resizes and works fine. That at least is the way it works using my Samsung S5.

At the airport now waiting for our flight to JFK, then on to Barcelona from there. Can't wait to post LIVE from the Harmony! [emoji4]

That's how I did it...added from gallery. Easy peasy. (I have an S5 Note)

Safe travels!!

Can you adjust after you 15-20 minute edit window has expired.

Yes, if you use a pic from a web site. CC renders the post every time with the current version of the pic, so if you modify it, CC then displays up the latest version. That's why if you insert a link for a changing scene - like a web cam, it keeps updating as the scene updates every time you go back to that post.

We are Raj and Mohamed, your onboard Concierges. We look forward to welcoming you onboard our beautiful ship for Harmony of the Seas’ Transatlantic sailing to Fort Lauderdale. We are truly excited for what will be an incredibly unique and memorable sailing. On behalf of the Management Team, we are thrilled that you are embarking on this very special voyage with us.

We have many activities and events planned for your enjoyment, but some of the biggest highlights to look forward to are our White Party, our legendary Halloween party (don’t forget to pack your most original costume!), Oktoberfest, and “The Meeting of the 3 Sisters” event, where our 3 Oasis class ships, the largest cruise ships in the world, will meet side by side for the first time ever. Due to the uniquely high counts of Pinnacle members and Suite guests on this particular sailing, we can expect the Suite Lounge and Coastal Kitchen to be quite busy.

Exclusively for this sailing, we are extending our Suite lounge benefits as follows:

In addition to Coastal Kitchen, Chops Grille, Central Park, Deck 8 will also be serving breakfast and lunch daily, created from the Coastal Kitchen menu. Breakfast will be available between the hours of 7:30 am and 9:30 am, and lunch between Noon and 1:30 pm. Al fresco dining will be available, weather permitting. No reservations required.

Reservations are required however for dinner in Coastal Kitchen. We your Concierges would be more than happy to assist you with this, or you may book directly with Coastal Kitchen. We do recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment. Another great option for dinner is Solarium Bistro, an upgraded complimentary specialty restaurant where you can dine al fresco! Reservations also required.

Additionally, as a Sky Class guest, simply show your SeaPass card at any bar onboard between the hours of 5:00 pm and 8:30 pm, and savor your complimentary cocktails, enjoying the view and ambiance of your choice. (*Excludes Bionic Bar and Rising Tide)

The Suite Lounge is a private area exclusive for guests staying in the Star Class and Sky Class categories and Pinnacle Club members and is accessible 24 hours a day using your SeaPass card.

We respectfully request that guests observe a Smart Casual dress code when visiting the Lounge (no bathrobes, no swim or pool attire is allowed, and footwear is required at all times). Please be informed that during the cocktail hours on formal nights, shorts, sandals and tank tops are not permitted in the lounge. We encourage all of our Guests to follow the evening dress code reflected on the daily Evening Planner.

To ensure all our guests are able to enjoy these exclusive venues, we require that all minors must be well behaved and accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

The lounge is designated a smoke-free area. Food and beverages are for consumption within the lounge only.

Harmony of the Seas is the newest and largest smart ship in the world. We recommend you download the Royal IQ App before coming onboard in order to have quick and convenient access to the most up to date information regarding daily activities and programming, access to show, dining, and Shore Excursion reservations, account information, chat service, and so much more!

We look forward to hearing from you and meeting you in person. Please feel free to email us with any questions you may have at the following addresses: hm_concierge01@rccl.com and hm_concierge02@rccl.com

It would be our pleasure to assist you in any way to make your cruise experience the more enjoyable and we wish you an unforgettable time onboard the Harmony of the Seas.

Sincerely,

Raj Bhugwath

LIVE with a twist - Cruise Critic Members on the Harmony TA want to have a LIVE thread with a twist.

Technically, any CC member subscribed to the thread who is ONBOARD the Harmony TA can contribute pictures or answer questions about Harmony of the Seas. Anyone who is interested can ask questions, and those onboard the cruise will attempt to answer them.

The emphases will be on pictures of places and people on the ship, and info about Harmony. One request we have is that you do not reply to a photo posting by quoting a photo, as it lengths the thread with pictures already seen.

Among those posting pictures will be Anna-Carin (peaceofcake), Emmy (Emmy), Internetwhiz (Karen), and Cj (OzPinoyCruiser), and many others. Join the fun! We sail on Sunday, October 23.

Thanks for starting this thread.

Just discovered this thread. How awesome is it going to be sharing your Harmony transatlantic adventure! Thank you everyone for sharing.

Also, thank you Jules for posting the Sky Class letter. We were wondering what the recent Harmony Sky Class letters entailed. So many things have changed like no more thermal lounge day pass etc.

Looks fine on a 5" phone screen, not so much on a laptop or bigger. See if you can make it bigger. iPhone version of app is supposed to have a selection for size. Have fun.
