ms Veendam in New York City - Oct 17, 2016

The Veendam is scheduled for a 7:00 AM EDT arrival at the Manhattan cruise terminal and a 16:00/4:00 PM EDT departure.

 

She is on her way to Port Everglades to kick to off the HAL Caribbean season on October 19.

I will miss her arrival as we will be on the road to get DH to his doctor's appointment.

If the weather is nice, I'll also miss departure as we will be outside.

I hope there's a good gap between departures so the camera gets a good chance to focus on the Veendam.

Veendam looks tiny next to the larger Carnival ship.

 

 

Capt said in his talk today - that they expect to have 2-3 more Pinnacle-size ships by 2022.

Remember to switch to the Harbor Cam once the Veendam gets to the southern part of Manhattan. Or keep both webcams open and toggle between them.

Is it hazy in New York. Looks that way on the Harbor Cam.
