Boytjie Posted October 16, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2016 (edited) The Veendam is scheduled for a 7:00 AM EDT arrival at the Manhattan cruise terminal and a 16:00/4:00 PM EDT departure. She is on her way to Port Everglades to kick to off the HAL Caribbean season on October 19. Krazy Kruizers Posted October 16, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2016 I will miss her arrival as we will be on the road to get DH to his doctor's appointment. If the weather is nice, I'll also miss departure as we will be outside.
Rare rafinmd Posted October 17, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 17, 2016 I wish they'd point the webcam towards the ships. Looks like a nice day for a sailaway. Roy

Rare rafinmd Posted October 17, 2016 #7 Share Posted October 17, 2016 I hope there's a good gap between departures so the camera gets a good chance to focus on the Veendam. Roy
Happily@Sea Posted October 17, 2016 #8 Share Posted October 17, 2016 Veendam looks tiny next to the larger Carnival ship. Capt said in his talk today - that they expect to have 2-3 more Pinnacle-size ships by 2022.

Happily@Sea Posted October 17, 2016 #10 Share Posted October 17, 2016 I guess I'll go - the picture keeps freezing and I don't have enough internet time. Port Canaveral tomorrow.
Boytjie Posted October 17, 2016 Author #11 Share Posted October 17, 2016 (edited) Remember to switch to the Harbor Cam once the Veendam gets to the southern part of Manhattan. Or keep both webcams open and toggle between them. (I am not home, watching on my iphone). Edited October 17, 2016 by Boytjie

Rare rafinmd Posted October 17, 2016 #16 Share Posted October 17, 2016 Veendam looking good on the Harbor Cam now. When I've been on the Staten Island it always looked huge but sure is tiny next to the Veendam. Roy
