I doubt Eurodam will leave at 4 pm, she has Freedom otS in front of her and she leaves at 4:30. Eurodam is sitting with her bow out, so she could maneuver around the Obstacle of the Seas if she really wanted to.

If all these dam ships can leave as scheduled, we should be able to watch all sailaways easily, if the SD cameras cooperate.

We'll be watching from the other side for once as we are headed out for a week on the Eurodam today. No wave requested, but if there's a bar cam in the Crow's Nest, you might catch us.

New camera that we don't know about? Enjoy your pre-, during, post-sailaway drink. You don't need to be outside in the warm Ft Lauderdale weather - you live in it.

We'll be waving at you anyway and enjoy your cruise. That's a long trip home on Christmas Eve day. :D :P :D

Thank you, Peter, for all that information. I will try to be here. DH had his second cataract surgery yesterday, and I'm going to try to get him to take it easy today, but that is difficult! And the painters are coming today, hopefully to finish up and get everything ship-shape again.

I'm trying to remember are you the one that just moved this past summer/autumn? Any intrusions into your everyday schedule are nice/a relief when they are over, even if they really needed to be done.

Yes, we moved in September, went on a cruise in October, and returned in November to utter chaos! Now we have a big family crowd coming for Christmas (just dessert, everybody does their own turkey); they will have to put up with things as they are.:D

I looked, and thought, boy, she looks really long! Then I realized - two dam ships overlapping...:)

By the time Oosterdam got done docking, there is definitely separation, but being of a similar size and looks/coloring doesn't help distinguishing one from another.

I was right about all Oosterdam's maneuvering being out of sight.

Guess I'll stay on Key West view and PEV sound since Eurodam is blocked out on all FLL cameras.

Vict0riann - I'm glad my mind isn't failing me about your move. Good luck on your next week plus.

I always check before I go to bed so when there was no thread at 3 am, I figured you must be at a really great holiday party!;):D;)

Hope you have a great time! I will raise my glass (of iced tea) as you sail by.

I wish PTZ would put a camera in San Diego. The webcam there does not like TimeWarner and the view is unreliable...

I wonder what the view is like for those who don't have TimeWarner?

Since it is not a very busy day in FLL, it's a shame Eurodam could not have docked at 19 or 21 but, as you say, plenty to see in Key West. It is snowing again in Juneau.

Checking in. Was at the casino for DH's birthday. Won enough to buy a coffee card for our March cruise. LOL

Is the coffee card that expensive or was the 'jackpot' a pittance? Nice to hear from you again. Did you see the TOOT flag on 2 recent sailing? Same ship -2 itineraries.

Won small amounts on several machines. No big jackpot. Yes, I did see the flag...brought back memories.
