I have shared this before......but their cream puffs were amazing......:)

 

 

That's just cruel to post that wonderful photo. Its nearly 4 months until my next chocolate puff.

All beverages are covered in the Signature Beverage Package.

 

The grilled cheese sandwich and dutch apple pie are good.

They will make a small cheese plate to have as a snack too.

 

Certainly hope they bring this to all the HAL ships.

Oh my goodness! I'm drooling. I never saw these at Dutch Café. I guess we didn't go at the correct time. I will certainly rectify that mistake in December when we sail on NS.

I asked because in the fine print of the Sig Bev Pckg, it says: "Excludes Mini Bar, Chocolate Seduction, In-Room Dining, beverages on Half Moon Cay, Freestyle Coca-Cola and any self-service draft beer. "

Which is strange because on ANOTHER page it says it DOES include the Freestyle Coca Cola (I would think they would WANT you to "burn" all your drinks on Coca Cola!) I didn't know if the GDC was a "self-service draft beer" (wherever THAT is!)

Just discovered this thread as I was searching Grand Dutch Cafe for my upcoming Nieuw Statendam cruise. 

Thanks so much for your wonderful input!

 

This will be my first time on this class of ship and the food at this venue looks and sounds amazing. Fingers crossed the same treats will be offered on my sailing.

 

Question:  Are these served on dishes to be eaten in the Grand Dutch Cafe or can they be taken back to your cabin?

This is one of my favorite venues on the ship.  I am drooling looking at the picture of the Koningsbol!  Yum!  Can't wait until October.
