Monorail Orange Posted July 1, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 1, 2017 I know I'm in the minority with this, but anyone tried the mocktails? Tried a couple last time, they're not that bad, if a little sweet at times. Nice alternative for those who don't drink.
Goosebear Mum Posted July 1, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 1, 2017 Yes, as I drink almost no alcohol. I agree they make a change, but can be a little too sweet, so I often stick to elderflower or appletise at dinner. I'll try and look at a list to see which I tried. easyboy Posted July 1, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 1, 2017 I like mocktails too but am diabetic. When I order, I ask them not too sweet and to lessen the syrup. Sometimes the fruit mixed is also sweet. Rare P&O SUE Posted July 1, 2017 #7 Share Posted July 1, 2017 I like to drink the mocktails during the day, I like the "Pussyfoot" but they do contain a lot of sugar, I blame that for the extra pounds I put on last time [emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Forums

danielundecided Posted July 1, 2017 #9 Share Posted July 1, 2017 I love the sea breeze and elderflower fizz myself. I've tried to make them at home but couldn't get them absolutely perfect! Dan Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Monorail Orange Posted July 2, 2017 Author #11 Share Posted July 2, 2017 Glad to see I'm not the only one who likes the mocktails then! :D I can't remember the names of the other two I tried, but Seabreeze is probably the best for me. The other two had that agave (or guava?) syrup in them. Like having two sachets of sugar over ice. I know they only offer a limited amount as they know they won't sell many, but I'd love them to expand the offering just a little.
Hols4 Posted July 2, 2017 #12 Share Posted July 2, 2017 Hols4 If you like coconut try the cool callada, coconut & pineapple that is my favourite and my wife also has the banana berry crush. Sent from my iPad using Forums
DS_Dean Posted July 2, 2017 #13 Share Posted July 2, 2017 Seabreeze is my favourite, but I noticed on Azura it was sometimes made incorrectly so was a bit lucky dip.

Angie463 Posted July 2, 2017 #16 Share Posted July 2, 2017 We had the elderflower fizz several times and found it very nice and a good alternative to having just coke or lemonade. We took a box of wine to drink in our cabin but as I was on seasickness tablets we ended up not opening it until we got home!
Monorail Orange Posted July 2, 2017 Author #17 Share Posted July 2, 2017 I'm curious, for those who've experienced other lines - do they offer any mocktails?

Monorail Orange Posted July 3, 2017 Author #20 Share Posted July 3, 2017 Good to know, thanks. :) I think my only issue is those oversized cocktail glasses they serve them in. They're hardly subtle. Then again, at least they don't serve them with paper parasol, a cherry on a plastic sword and a sparkler. Now that would be embarrasing! haha

Monorail Orange Posted July 3, 2017 Author #23 Share Posted July 3, 2017 Isn't that the best bit??! ;p Well it certainly draws the attention - or at least that's what I assume. In reality, other passengers probably don't give two hoots (I hope!).
simonpjd Posted July 4, 2017 #24 Share Posted July 4, 2017 If you try an Oceania cruise ALL soft drinks, including all the mocktails, are free. #justsaying Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
terrierjohn Posted July 4, 2017 #25 Share Posted July 4, 2017 On our last cruise I found my wife's mocktails more refreshing and pleasant tasting than the cocktails, next time I think I might switch.
