Baileys for coffee

My dh likes Baileys in his coffee, will it be covered on the Classic bev plan or will he need to upgrade to Premium?

That's one of the few things I enjoy as far as alcohol goes. The answer is NO... Bailey's Irish Cream is on the Premium list. My plan is simply to pay the difference in cost (including the 18% gratuity as well) each time for the few times I order ....and enjoy some Baileys!! :cool: :D

When the rules pertaining to Classic package only paying the difference Baileys was transferred to the Premium. The difference is $1.18 incl gratuity. Unless you drink a lot of it I would stay on the Classic package

Baileys used to be part of the classic beverage package. When we took a cruise in Australia and New Zealand in 2014 I had one after dinner each night. The rules changed in 2015 or 2015 making Baileys a premium drink.

It seems like Celebrity changed some drinks from Classic to Premium that were popular but not necessarily premium or expensive. This includes canned Colas.

I have a print out handed to me by the Michael's Club concierge in the summer. It lists most of what is available by package.

So, August 2017

Bailey's = Prem

Kahlua = classic

The drinks are listed by brand so I can't help you by searching for Bailey's substitutes ---- I need brand names.

By the way, I like Russian Standard vodka. It's a standard package spirit but when I was in one of the bars with a permium package the bartender tried to charge me extra because it wasn't on his list and wasn't a vodka that he usually carried ----he thought that it was an above-premium brand!

Carolans and Emmets are two brands I use at home for coffee. Emmets is the least expensive of the two.

Sorry, Mike. They're not on the lists. Could still be on board.... a bit like ny Russian Standard. Just not on the lists.

So how much difference are we talking, I am thinking 3-4 a day.

If its 4 a day, I would consider upgrading. For the extra $5 or so, you get a lot of other options for the whole day. I am a big Baileys lover in my coffee in the am...and sipping a few on the rocks after supper while at the Casino so I am doing the upgrade for $10/day plus grat.

The plus now is I don't have to worry about anything else being charged extra as pretty much every drink Is covered under the premium along with some extra perks like redbull, bottled water etc.

Could you post the list by any chance? Might help!

Thanks

That happened to us on the Silhoutte. We had the premium package and in the Ensemble lounge and my wife asked for a Moscow Mule with Russian Standard. The server said that it was an extra $2 because it was a special vodka. My wife told her to forget it and use Grey Goose. We were on a B2B and on the next cruise the drink packages were changed and Russian Standard was listed in the classic.

You never know from day to day what is or isn’t in a package.

Drink up 🍸🍷🍹🥃🍻🍾

Thanks. I will probably just upgrade the package. I will have to remember call out the brand when ordering other drinks. I can’t just order a Martini or I will get the classic vodka.
