dkjretired Posted February 25, 2018 #26 Share Posted February 25, 2018 Canada and New England Cruise. That’s something we want to in particular the Celebrity trip at the end of June that does an overnight in Boston on the 4th of July. Seems we keep getting family weddings in the way. Also want to do Australia and Galapagos

eel Posted February 25, 2018 #30 Share Posted February 25, 2018 Still in the bucket: African Safari Egypt and the Pyramids Antarctica China Fiji Japan Morocco Maldives Seychelles Thailand Switzerland Dalmation Coast River Cruise on Danube Around the World Cruise Falling out of the bucket: (booked and upcoming) St. Petersburg and the Baltics Arctic Circle and Norwegian Fjords Around the horn in South America Ireland Scotland Portugal (Azores and mainland) Removed from the bucket: Australia by land and sea New Zealand Tahiti and Bora Bora Galapagos Peru with Machu Pichu and Lake Titicaca Petra Israel Dubai Suez Canal Panama Canal Greece and Greek Isles Italy including Rome, Venice, Florence, Tuscany, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Amalfi Coast and Sicily Kotar, Montenegro Malta Spain Monaco Canary Islands Dubai India Singapore Bali Netherlands Germany Paris London Around the World (half way by cruise, half way by air) I am sure I missed a few. It seems we add two things to the bucket list each time we cross one off. I am sure we will never finish it off completely!

Flafun888 Posted February 26, 2018 #32 Share Posted February 26, 2018 definitely antarctica for us - but on one of those smaller expedition-type sailings vs large cruise ship like X. Yikes is that pricy! Pulling the trigger on a trip that expensive is tough for me. Maybe when we officially retire. :)
gerelmx Posted February 26, 2018 #33 Share Posted February 26, 2018 First vote for a Cruise to No Where.
Olive1950 Posted March 1, 2018 #34 Share Posted March 1, 2018 definitely antarctica for us - but on one of those smaller expedition-type sailings vs large cruise ship like X. Yikes is that pricy! Pulling the trigger on a trip that expensive is tough for me. Maybe when we officially retire. :) When you DO pull that trigger, opt for an expedition ship that makes landings as opposed to the drive-by that Celebrity offers. And yes, it is expensive. But it is worth every penny. I did my 2 cruises to Antarctica on Orient Line's Marco Polo in 1999/2000 for Y2k, and again in 2000/2001 for the millennium. Each cruise offered 5-6 landings via zodiac. I still need to see Iceland and the Galapagos....
Baron Barracuda Posted March 1, 2018 #35 Share Posted March 1, 2018 Crossed two off the list last year, Galapagos and New Orleans for Mardi Gras on Equinox. Both were awesome.

Rare mom says Posted March 2, 2018 #37 Share Posted March 2, 2018 Our bucket list has shrunk to a manageable few. But who knows what might be added? Scotland Nile cruise African safari All of the Tahitian islands Dubai India Thailand China We're hoping to knock of those last 4 items next year - looking at B2B cruises on Connie next winter. GUT2407 Posted March 2, 2018 #38 Share Posted March 2, 2018 Probably really only two left in the bucket. Circle Pacific, if it’s offered again. World Cruise
Aries 65 Posted March 3, 2018 #39 Share Posted March 3, 2018 Knocked a lot off. Taking care of China, Korea, Japan next. Still have sub Saharan Africa, Galapagos, India, and reaching 100 on Century Travel Club's list on my list. Strongly recommend adding Machu Picchu and Iguazu Falls in South America to your lists. Rare Cruise Junky Posted March 3, 2018 #41 Share Posted March 3, 2018 Cruise to Las Vegas? The original question didn’t say you had to cruise there, just where do you want to go.
