Our next port was the Isles of Scilly.

Another beautiful spot. Small but gorgeous. I love going into these small places and savouring the flavour.

Here is the When and Where for the day first.

So this is another tender port.

So far, we are 3 for 3 on the tenders...BUT...the port provides the tender.

OMG, OMG. It was one rocky ride over.

The tenders were open - get ready for splashing and rocking and rolling but they were much faster than the ship's tenders.

Kazu confesses she put her head down at one stage as she was sure the thing was going to turn over. We were on the first tender and it wasn't full so it was more tippy. The ride back was smoother.

Sadly tapatalk is not happy and won't upload easily. I"ll see what I can do and otherwise will be back later.

I couldn't take a pic when the transfer was rocking and rolling (heck I was looking for something to hang on to) but the hair blowing tells it all, I hope.

These are the seats to sit on.

They are also what we had to climb over to move to seats so others could sit.

The tender was bobbing so hard that I wondered if I could do it, but do it I did. Some opted not to.

But it was worth every second.

Such a pretty place. We had a private tour that gigianne had arranged ( I look on us as partners in crime as have the same ideals).

We were touring with Sam (a lady) of Toots Taxi and what a riot she was.

She not only filled us with local knowledge and fun but took us to great spots and then we had our own time afterwards.

Your are looking at their dungeon bar. so lovely and cosy and it isn't dismal

I see the bars flickering so I will attempt to post this and be back tomorrow with more.

We'll be driving along, having a chat, and a random castle will pop up. I yell "Castle!" and then we carry on like nothing happened.

Reminds me of a coach excursion we did in the Faroe Islands. Every time a sheep was spotted the cry would ring out "SHEEP" and all the American cameras would be clicking away. As you may know, there are a lot of sheep in the Faroes, but this kept on happening. I presume the dearth of sheep in America has worked up an insatiable thirst.

Wasn't she on The Vicker of Dibley?

Yes, and "French and Saunders" before that. She was much better on her own, as she is a really good comedienne but had to play 2nd fiddle to Jennifer Saunder, whose idea of comedy was to ridicule someone else.

That made me LOL. I have tried but I have no explanation for this! lol

Good afternoon from Killybegs, Ireland.

We just finished our fabulous tour (Hidden Gems which I arranged with the Tourist Bureau - more on that later when I catch up) here a short while ago, grabbing a quick bite and the tourist bureau has kindly arranged a transfer for us to Donegal at the massive price of 10 euros per person round trip. How good is that?

Sorry everyone. No chance to update today.

We went into Donegal and back and then barely made happy hour. The night has whipped away and it is nearly 11 pm and we have an early meet up time for 7:45 for our tour in Galway.

I'm setting the wake up call very early so well DH showers, I hope to do some catching up.

Otherwise, I will have to do it on the ship if there is no freee wifi time on our tour (and I doubt there will be).

There is a big soccer match on tomorrow night that DH wants to see. So, I spoke to the dining room manager tonight and he said we could do anytime dining so DH can watch the big soccer match at 7:45. So, casino time aside I should be able to get more up to date then.

Big day today, tomorrow and the next day. Cross your fingers for us for Bantry. We are doing the ring of Skellig and good weather is a must.

We have really lucked out so far in weather. Cold in the morning (by some people's standards) and by the afternoon it's wise to have layered - so you can take them off.

Fabulous weather so far - I hope I haven't jinxed myself.

I do have an umbrella and a jacket if needed but so far I have managed with a blouse and cashmere sweater. Everone else was in jackets. LOL. Cashmere is very warm.

Cheers as we sail away from Killybegs (beautiful sail a way) and on to Galway. OMG my cruise is nearly over :(

I will get up to date so bear with me. It's an amzing itinerary so far.
