Dry Dock - Silhouette 2020. How long ?

Just booked a great Labor Day Sail/Sale for Feb 14,2020. 9 day Southern.

 

I just saw that Silhouette is scheduled for Drydock January 20th, 2020

 

Am I set up for heartbreak for my Valentines cruise ? Or is drydock just a couple of weeks ? Any help appreciated - I don’t want to fret for the next 18 months 😉. Thanks

The Revolution on the Silhouette is scheduled to be completed January 24, 2020.

Makes me wonder why there is no “drydock” gap for booking. All Silhouette cruises in Dec 19/Jan 20 are for sale.

The Silhouette is in dry dock from Jan 3, 2020. The first cruise after dry dock is Jan 24, 2020.

We are on the first one out so fingers crossed there are no delays!!

So, 21 days for Revolution. That doesn't sound long enough to redo all the cabins and add suites, not to mention making changes to create suite only areas. Maybe this is not as extensive as X has touted. Frankly, I hope less is done rather than more.

In case you haven’t heard, the Jan 24 sailing got cancelled.  They bumped us to Feb 1-14 cruise.

I hope they don´t spoil the beautyfull Silhouette- they are quite new compared to the Milli- Class- so a refit was quite due!

If you get there on Feb 1, we'll be gone.  The first cruise is scheduled for Jan 31

Jan and Feb 2020, Only Feb 23 is open for bookings

I sure hope Feb 23 does not disappear.  We have booked it along with some good friends.   Trying to coordinate dates is tough.

Check the roll call for the 1/31 and 2/14 sailings

A lot of discussion as Celebrity has taken the sailings offline and is "By-hand" looking at every reservation etc for occupancy etc

Lots of discussion re dry dock, potential delays, potential oversolds etc
